This company's business model is about hooking you in with the cheap tools that run on batteries that are going to fail within a year or two. When you have to buy up to 3 or 4 batteries to finish one lawn and they all stop taking a charge, you're basically being scammed. Most of this battery powered tech is in total garbage. Ryobi are thieves. People should stay far away from their garbage tools. The batteries I use for my weed eater are 130 bucks a pop. To me, that's not cheap.
Do you recommend more often mowing or no? When it's at correct height?
It depends on how it looks. If your lawn looks brown and struggling do not mow it. I say wait to cut it till it's the most beautiful green you've ever seen, lush and healthy. THEN it's ok to cut it if you must
@@supergreenlawncare thank you so much! I love your videos and have been very helpful!
Not sure I would of applied fertilizer with the lawn under stress like that

Good to know. Just bought my first gome in Fishers and the lawn isnt in too bad of shape but it does need some TLC when compared to ky neighborhood yards. I'll try the fescue seed
Glad to help. Check out this video I uploaded today. I think that may also be a help to you
So..how do you get rid of it?
You don't. It's impossible unless you bring in an excavator
Extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

I don't think so
Very useful app
I literally just got rid of my Ryobi Mower because of this issue, I had struggled with it Last year and this year just quit on me. the batteries are garbage, I will never buy a Ryobi anything Again, I was so frustrated i bought a gas mower again. Their customer service wanted just to send me a charger but i have multiple chargers.
So much for sustainable, cleaner, renewable energy to 'save the planet'. 😂 Most of this electric tech is pure junk.
Hi, my lawn looks very similar to the backyard in this video. It was very helpful to see a lawn that looks like mine and to hear your diagnosis. After reading the comments, it sounds like you recommend aerating and overseeding with Turf Type Tall Fescue seed. If you still take care of the lawn you showed in the video, it would be awesome to see how it currently looks after a year or two of your overseeding. Any chance of posting a video update of the backyard? Pay no mind to the haters, your video helped me... Thank-you.
What about southern Indiana
I keep telling my wife this and she wants it scalped...
Lawn looks like shit
Thanks for your review.
I live in noblesville. My lawn is a disaster because of the prior owner. Ill be planting tall fescue in the fall
The gas Echo ES 250 in this video is a convertible leaf vacuum shredder/blower. Echo's gas handheld PB 2620 blower is lighter and more powerful than the Echo ES 250 and the Stihl 86.
All problem statement, no solution. Useless.
No it’s not useless informations it’s valuable. What’s your solution for getting rid of clump fescue?
If you ever want to do a clean up video for someone in need , know of place outside of Noblesville that does.
In my opinion, the best handheld blower is the Husqvarna 525BX! I also have an 86 Stihl, but the Husky is superior.
I do landscaping commercially. Once you go battery blower you’ll never want to go gas again. Just have to remember to charge batteries
Echo battery blower really terrible. I bought one with extra battery. Within a week trigger sticks. Can’t ever get it to run right. I now have 2 ego 756 blowers. Those are the best. Nothing even close
I will certainly they that
4:20 seconds of my life I can’t get back. Absolute waste of a video and time. At what point are you going to get to the part where you tell us how to get rid of fescue? Is there a part two? Good grief, bro.
Good content
That’s really disappointing I just purchased two red maple trees don’t have them yet but I really wanted to see those red leaves in autumn but knowing that they’re gonna do that to the lawn I guess I can’t have them now especially because of the surface roots. that sucks
Try a bagger
if they are not going to water the lawn properly then put some hydratain on it. You might want to mow with a reel mower. Any cheap 200 dollar reel mower without using the bag clippings would help.
I’ve heard of hydratain but never used it. How do you spread it or spray it
the weight snaps the crown, pray for rain we finally got some in western PA, its a godsend but not enough yet
That’s a good observation. You know when it gets really hot I’ve even seen grass do that just from walking on it. Like you can look at the lawn and see your yellow footprints
@@supergreenlawncare Definitely! I had a lawn customer whose neighborhood kids cut through the side yard on their bikes and they left a spaghetti pattern lol

Look more like fertilizer burned from too much being put down.
They’ve hired TruGreen for that so I doubt it!
@@supergreenlawncare they have spells they have equipment that goes bad that doesn't work properly but there may be something in the ground causing that like some gravel or something.

Stripping directions can be critical too, I’ve noticed this in lawns that get stripped east-west. The sun passes over the broad side of the blade all day vs a couple hours on stripes north-south.
That’s interesting
I’ll have to pay attention to that next time I cut that lawn
it will be nice and green when the rain comes back
Should be. That’s what happens most years
Hmm heat stressed...mowing is stressing it... How about leave it
Sometimes we make business decisions that aren’t popular. That’s business. Workers still need a paycheck.
I found this video helpful enough to leave a comment.
Can’t you kill it with RoundUp and seed the dead area?
No. It will come back
@@supergreenlawncare Amazing. Tall Fescue is the unkillable plant.
@@blipblopride9024 yes. It is.
Moved into new house April 8, 2023. That clay dirt yard looked like ours lol. We were told our grading and seed would be installed July or August. I was like good! Welp, the seed was put down just a few days ago. Bummer. The seed is Lesco's Team Mates Plus Mixture from SiteOne Landscaping, Fort Wayne. Your thoughts and/or instructions? Apparently, we are to keep the lawn moist for at least 60 days. I know there's Bluegrass in the mix. We are having trouble walking about to move sprinklers. Keep sliding, slipping in the muddy dirt. Even with the straw on it. Thanks!
My opinion. There’s only one proven way to get seed established is permanently in Fort Wayne. No seeding till September. What would I do if I were you. Water like crazy. And Don’t cut that lawn till September.
Well that was basically useless.
My point was. It’s impossible to kill so why bother. It grows great in clay, so plant more tall fescue and love it. Or plant KY blue that dies every year
The Ego 765cfm is a lot better than the one you are using and the kit comes with a 5.0AH battery. You'll never even need the turbo. I use it when leaves are very wet or if i have a ton of blowing to do. Otherwise, I use my Kobalt. It is so balanced and easy to use with enough power to get the job done for most things.
Dude i see you driving around here in FW! Thank you for the tips! TTTF for the win!
Hey that’s awesome!!!
I put down weed and feed today so how soon can i put down the Grub killer???
Any time you’d like. Do it today if you have grubs present. If you don’t, then put it down the end of may/early June as a preventative

Could I apply the bioadvanced 24hour grub killer plus now for the grubs i have currenty, and then in a couple of weeks apply Scott’s grubex to prevent grubs for the upcoming months? Or would that be too much
You should put grub killer down immediately when you see grubs look for a bag labeled “fast acting” and then you’ll put down the summer preventative in late May
Good stuff thanks. My understanding is that Grub Killer is simply a stronger dose of Grub Preventer since preventer will attack grubs before they are big so you don't need a real strong dose. If that is the case why would it be necessary to follow up the killer with a preventive measure? Isn't grub killer essentially a killer and preventive in one? I have half a bag left of the killer you are using and would like to just use it now as a preventive measure (I am in the North East).
I would say so. But some grub killer is encapsulated slow release for extended protection. And yes because of the deep burrowing nature of grubs you will want to do a killer on contact followed by a early summer preventative
Will tall fescue work well when there is more shade through the day,?
There’s a brand I buy called Executurf. They make a seed variety that has fine fescue, along with both creeping, chewing and red fescue with some rye that would work really good for mostly shade. Why I like it is because it grows excellent in clay and requires like zero water
I think I have grubs eating my rose Bush roots. Can I just throw that right on top of the mulch, Or do I need to dig the mulch out and put it on the dirt and it won't hurt my roses?
Enjoyed the video, but I was most impressed with the little Kobalt blower. I expected the other blowers to perform well and they did. But the performance and light weight of the Kobalt is what got my attention. I understand that there is a new more powerful Gen 2 version out now, and I think I will try one of the Gen 2 versions as I have an 8 amp Kobalt battery and I only maintain my yard and my daughters yard. Thanks Super green for the Video.
