Usually demos are totally different recordings than the record version. This appears to be the same recording, but without the production values.

At 16 years old I was in love with this song. At 53 years old, I still am. Must say something.

Just shows that someone can play guitar intricately and 100 miles an hour, but most of the times these musicians can't compose a great song to save their lives. During Glenn Danzig's days in The Misfits and Samhain, the songs were so great, and timeless despite being easy to play. I first bought Initium in 1986 when I was 16 years old from a used record bin because of the morbid cover. This was before I heard anything from The Misfits. Initium has remained my favorite album from Danzig's entire catalog, and Archangel my favorite song after all these years. (I'm now 54).

What’s the story on this. I ain’t listened to disc 3 of the set in years, with the original “Bullet” single and that early version of “Spook City USA” that Glenn would later record by himself in 1981 on his “Who Killed Marilyn?” single. It's been said that this song was meant for Dave Vanian to sing. Probably why it's much different than Glenn's other work.

such a enigma like when he was this age performing without trying to be this new dazing shit like Samhain is the misfits done straight and its got a sex appeal acting like a gothic biker didn't do for him. its funny but sad because Danzig has elements that made him a stand out and hes more creative than hes probably allowed him self to be.

This sounds EXACTLY like the studio release... maybe a little more reverb. I would actually venture to say that the Misfits didn't do demos. Why would an unsigned punk band barely making any money in the early 80s make a demo of a song that would sound no worse than the final studio performance? They wouldn't. This is fake.

Torn with danzig. Hes a pompous ass and treats his fans like shit. Yet i still listen to his music because its goid. Do i stop listening just because hes a piece of shit or do enjoy his good music? Its a question but i really dont want an answer. Just trying to make you think
