Every time I watch this, I cry, I have no idea why but this just feels so beautifully perfect, possibly more than the original stories did because THIS is what warriors is, the cats coming together to make a beautiful community. THIS is the warrior code.

I'm late but i just love Bone's design! It makes him look really terrifying! I wonder how this Bone never ended up in my nightmares. XD Edit: 2:07 are the cats with Bone Brick, Hoot and Jumper? I honestly barely see anyone draw Brick as his canon gender anymore. 😅

This is the best warrior cats MAP I've ever seen. THe art is amazing, but its the writing here that blows my mind. I am confident in saying this is better than the books. By making firestar a rogue instead of a warrior cat, you've flipped the entire ethos of the books on their head for the better. Instead of being a story where he learns to uphold an arbitrary code and characters contend with tired traditions that harm more than help, you've made a story about helping others because its the right thing to do. I love that firestar never looses his compasionate core in this setting. Seeing him hear about the clans and use it to inspire change in twoleg place is amazing, and such a fascinating spin on Scourge's decision to replicate a Clan's hierarchy and nothing else. His actions in the final battle are amazing too - this firestar has no extra lives, and everything to lose, but he fights alongside his friends anyway. And his allies are fighting not because they belong to a clan and must because of tradition, but because they trust firestar. Portraying a Starclan that would appear to a rogue and give him nine lives because he upheld the essence of being a warrior is more radical than anything the books could ever dream of doing. This MAP dismantled power structures and gave me cute cats to boot.

My favourite thing about this map? *barley has a floofy moustache and so does yellowfang. You must tell me if theres a mustache I didn't notice.* Also, rusty didnt turn into some evil leader and scourge wasn't a necessarily "good" leader! They only switched roles not personalities! And I love seeing their little clan grow into a large clan, and help the calns survive!!
