Hypixel Stole This Minecraft Gamemode
Hypixel just released a brand new game to their prototype lobby called Pixel Party, but the community has noticed that this game is similar to Hive Block Party. The mechanics, powerups, and cosmetics are basically exact copies of Hive, and many players are disappointed in Hypixel for copying another server's game. It's disappointing to see Hypixel feel the need to copy someone else's creation, especially when they are the largest and most successful Minecraft server. This video will discuss why releasing this game was a huge mistake, and how it will negative affect Hypixel's image.

from a 2023 outlook, it seems they will never do bedrock again. it's too ambitious. most of hypixel's games are on other servers at this point, so there's no point aside the brand name appearing on the default server list when you open bedrock. the big money is RPG servers (to be clear, I don't mean RP = Role Play ie pretend like Mineville. i mean RPG = Role Playing Game like final fantasy, complete with exp system, monsters, story, traversing a very large world with locations, dungeons, bosses, final boss etc..)

in my mind, the number of people who play both java and bedrock is the smallest of small percentages, and it’s an even smaller percent as to who gives a fuck. they might just be happy to be able to play the gamemode on a more stable platform, or they might not give two shits. i don’t really care that hypixel made a copy, cause all this means is more familiarity across the two versions, cause let’s be real, bedwars and skywars are two completely different realities

As someone whose majoring in comp science it’s really easy to change ur ip address with vpns and etc. Also banning someone ip does nothing because if people were smart they would use a VPN if they were connecting to a server and interacting with people online. I would bet half or maybe even more of the ip bans on hive are just from VPNS services. Also many free vpns have unlimited ips.
