Learn Genesis 1:26-28a in Hebrew "Let US make man..." with syllable-by-syllable pronunciation!
Genesis 1:26-28a teaches that humans are created by God in the image and likeness of God. This creation in God’s image is central to understanding human nature, purpose, and destiny. It is only when we fulfill the creative purpose of God (the reason for which He created us), only then are we going to be reflecting the image of God and manifest His glory. 🙏🙏🙏♥♥♥ What a beautiful testimony! Perhaps you have already thought of this, and I'll share here for others. The יהיה‎ -- the unspeakable name of G-d -- has profound meaning that points to Messiah. The letters mean "Behold - Hand - Behold - Nail." שׁ (shin) means consumed or destroyed. When you place the שׁ in the middle you get YESHUA! May YESHUA bless you, and thank you for teaching me Hebrew! תּוֹדָה, my sister!

    suggestions when you transcript/notate the Hebrew alphabet/syllables using English letters, you have them read left to right just like English. Actually, I think it could help us who are not quick in recognizeing/pronouncing hebrew alphabets/syllables a lot if you can use English letters but from right to left, in the sam order as Hebrew alphabets. while it might seem awkward at the beginning, but at least English alphabet is already known. I read/speak Chinese and Japanese, and those languages can read from left to right or from right to left or vertically from top to bottom, so this isn't all that strange to us. Using letters that are already well known is the point.

    Hello! I was curious as to why you believe the last week, the 70th one, has not been fulfilled yet. Do you see a parallel between verse 26 and 27? It seems that the "he" of verse 27 is the same as the subject of verse 26: the Messiah. Who do you think the Messiah of verse 26 is, if you don't mind me asking. Thank you very much!

      Hmmm 🤔 First of all, Hebrew letters don’t carry meanings on their own. Watch this: czcams.com/users/live6AAHwjTgolY?si=jdMbswJ-Pr9kPtvg Here is an AI summary on the Biblical definition of Wisdom, which I think is very well said: “In the Bible, wisdom is understood as a God-given ability to discern and apply truth in practical situations, aligning one's life with God's will and the created order.”

    Psalm 83:18 " May the people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth". How is it possible to glorify & sanctify God's name if no one knows who he is? If an individual has a name, the animals, plants, natures, universe, stars has it's name then what makes you believe that God does not have a name? The word God or Lord is a " Title" that's not his personal name. If you and me has a personal name and by calling our personal name to give us credit for a good work we've done, isn't it gratifying? It's the same way by calling God's personal name. Remember " Satan" is God of darkness also who misled mankind therefore it is appropriate to know who's God we are talking and give credit to. Even muslim believe in their God Allah which is the God of Violence. Make sure to clarify the real name of the one and only true God Yahweh/Jehovah.

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW Před 6 dny

      I understand what you are saying, but the fact is that no one can know how to pronounce God’s name יהוה. It’s a fact. Yet, that does not mean that we don’t know who God is. Names can be pronounced in many ways between different accents, languages, people, etc. but the pronunciation does not change the one whose name it is. Knowing God is not limited to or depended on knowing how to pronounce יהוה. And God is not limited by how we may or may not pronounce His name. That’s my point.

    Why are you using the final “s” (samech) instead of ש?

    • @TheWORDinHEBREW
      @TheWORDinHEBREW Před 10 dny

      First of all, there is no “final s” in Hebrew. Second, Hebrew is read from RIGHT to LEFT, so the samech ס is the FIRST letter here. The reason that it is not spelled with sin שׂ is because this word is spelled with ס and not שׂ. And that’s just the way it is in Hebrew 😉
