I personally know of a family of 4 that were housed here for around a year (two years ago) - they were from Guatemala. When people think about immigrants - they think about the media narrative about people coming on boats; no, it's wrong - this family flew into the country and now have permanent residence and right to work - along with 2 council houses and money on a card to help integrate - even now their English is extremely poor.

Hotel companies fleecing the taxpayers, accommodation that would at most be 60% occupancy now 100% all paid for by the taxpayer no need for hotel staff just security to stop the taxpayer from seeing where the money is going. If anyone thinks the people in the hotel are been provided with hotel services you're deluding yourself just like PPE the taxpayer is been ripped of for the benefit of shareholders.

I'm a little confused that the Police Officer told LCR that he has a right to do what he is going, then proceeded to engage and ask questions about what and why he was doing. If the Officer was already aware that LCR is exercising a right then there is no offence, shut the Officer has no reason to be talking to him. Also, the Officer incorrectly claimed he is not allowed to film inside the hotel. There is no legislation about filming on private property. The legislation regarding private property refers to whether a person is or isn't allowed on that property, but it does not stipulate that filming on private property is lawful or unlawful (caveat: voyeurism).
