Challenge Slider - Dog Puzzle Game in level 3 - Puzzle & Feeder in one. @NinaOttossonPuzzleGames
CHALLENGE SLIDER - DOG PUZZLE GAME
DIFFICULTY LEVEL 3 With 24 hidden treat compartments.
Nina Ottosson treat puzzle games are a great way to engage your dog's mind with challenging and rewarding activity. The Challenge Slider will keep your dog´s mind busy with 24 treat compartments. In this game dogs must move each slider, one at a time, in different directions, to reveal hidden treats or food. Slide, treat, and repeat!
DESCRIPTION
HOW TO PLAY: Place your dog's favorite treats or food in the compartments of the removable tray. Slide the tray back into the game. Supervise, show and encourage your dog to move sliders back and forth to seek treats. If your dog is too rough with his paws, place the game in your lap or on a stool, so that your dog can only use his nose to move the sliders. Let the games begin!
IT`S EASY TO FILL: Pull out the tray, fill compartments with treats or food, slide the tray back again. PLAYING RULES: Because it is a challenging game, we recommend that you play together, and teach your dog the rules of the game and how it works
FUN FOR ALL DOGS: This puzzle is advanced, so it´s best suited for dogs who have played other games before, and have fine motor skills, regardless of age, size or breed.
FROZEN PUZZLE: Mix a little canned meat with water, pour some of the mixture in the tray´s compartments, or place a small piece of tasty treat or food in each compartment, pour a little water, put the game in the freezer and let it set. This is perfect for dogs who need some extra activity.
REDUCES DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIORS: By keeping your dog's mind busy, treat puzzle toys can help reduce unwanted behaviors.
PLAY AND BOND: The Challenge Slider is a great way to bond with your dog while teaching basic training commands in a fun way.
MAKES FEEDING FUN: This treat puzzle can be used to feed your dog healthy treats or dry kibble - solving the food puzzle creates an engaging, slowed-down mealtime.
BPA, PVC & PHTHALATE FREE: Made with food-safe materials that you can trust for your dog.
EASY TO CLEAN: To wash, simply remove all treats/kibble and hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse clean and dry. Fill again for more fun!

Thank you Nina for this puzzle (and others). My most beautiful dog had a lot of fears and anxiety, but he loved this puzzle so much and played it until just a couple of months before I had to say goodbye. Thank you for the years of joy it brought him. He could do this one in a matter of seconds - it was his favourite. I will always be thankful x
Thank you ❤So glad to hear this, it warms my heart, thanks for sharing ❤ / Nina
How does he do all of these puzzles
It is natural hunting instinct to hunt for food, a fun way to give the cat mental enrichment. There are different puzzles in different degrees of difficulty from level 1-3.
❤...suerte en tu feria. Tus juguetes son estupendos🎉
I feel like these tiles move a lot easier than ours. On our puzzle our dog has to be so much more precise to get the tiles to move
Ok, you can try to rinse clean the tiles, sometimes hair etc. can get stuck
My dogs just stare at it and ignore it, if i put the treat close to the edge, the best they did just lick it and try to drag it out without using their paws. Is it because the biscuit treats are hard to move and this wobbler prefer easily movable sphere kibble?
Yes, it`s more difficult with flatter treats or food, try putting in round food pieces or treat pieces so that the dogs can more easily understand how to work with it to get the food out.
Wow thank you!
Does this apply to kittens?
Yes, start easy and step by step make it more difficult. Begin place treats or food in the compartments in the base, next step you cover treats with the leaves, last step you put treats inside the sliding cups, so the cat has to slide the cup sideways until the treat falls into the compartment in the base.
Anyone know how to make this game much harder? My puppy figured it out in seconds flat.
It´s a level 2 puzzle when placing treats INSIDE the sliding cups through the top holes, so your dog need to slide the cups until the treats fell out in the base compartment. To make it more challenging you can add in all tracks to block the sliding cup with food, treats, fleece pieces, etc. We also have more challenging puzzles in level 3 and 4.
Mil gracias por explicar las ventajas de este juego❤🎉😊
Gracias
What age dog is this game for? Will the dog get discouraged if he doesn't open the remaining compartments?
DogWorker is a level 3 game, age is not so important, it' s food motivation and cleverness that matters, and how we help the dog to understand and show how the game works. It is best to gradually introduce more difficult games, so that the dog understands the concept, I usually recommend starting at least with level 2.
Wow 😻 very nice ❤
Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for the video. I use it for my cats to get them to play for their kibble. They both love this puzzle but can't seem to figure out how to spin the top, even though I keep showing them how. I will try removing the spinning top.
Glad the video was helpful, the spinning top is easy to take off and on, hope your cats enjoy it
How do you get rid of the plastic???? Why the hell is there plastic my dog will eat that!
The plastic disc inside divides the treats into a lower and upper section. I would recommend our Treat Tumble if you want something that resists more for chewing.
@@NinaOttossonPuzzleGames okay thanks
My Doggo LOVES this one!
Thank you, glad you like it.
Please do a video showing how you clean this? I sure wish I could figure out a way for it to come apart. It takes me 4x the amount of time to try to clean this than it takes my dog to solve!
It's unfortunately not made to be taken apart, it is possible but a bit complicated. An easy way to clean this is to soak it in warm water for a while with soap and then rinse it. We have another similar puzzle that you can easily take apart and also wash in the dishwasher, the Lickin' Layers.
I have a finnish lapphund and he handle lever 3 easily (two games) Today a bought this game, he solve the puzzle in less then 10 minutes ,two times, and then went sleep. Ser fram emot nivå 5
Some dogs are very clever, sometimes to clever :) We have new puzzles in the pipeline. Here are some tips for our puzzles. (Important to supervise the dog closely when using some of these tips) If you have several puzzle games, you can do a puzzle race with them, put several puzzles in a row and hide some treats in each. Hide several puzzles in different rooms or places, so the dog has to find them, to make it even more difficult, you can hide the puzzles under blankets, towels and pillows. Make a frozen puzzle by adding some natural yogurt or water in each compartment with some tasty treats and then letting the game set in the freezer, keeps the dog busy a little longer. Set up the game on a chair or similar so that the dog can only work with the nose, not the paws, it would usually be a bit more challenging for the dog, especially if it is a paw dog. Cut out cardboard pieces to put over the treats or fleece pieces with rolled treats inside. Lock sliding cups with cut-out cardboard pieces that the dog need remove to be able to slide cups.
This is exactly what my doggo does with this puzzle!
It´s a level 4 puzzle, and the middle part is very challenging, so my young dog needs a little help with this part, which is the best thing to do until they have learned how it works, otherwise there is a risk that they will start chewing on the game.
great
Thank you, great idea. Love your food puzzles ❤
Thank you
Thank you so much for this video. I completely thought my dog broke the whole thing 😂😂
You´re welcome :)
My dog can't figure out the disk in the middle. How can I help?
It´s a level 3 puzzle, some dogs can find it to difficult, but I recommend you show him how it works, some dogs can learn by watching, focus on one sliding peg and start easy with the peg in the wheel, place a treat under the peg, slide it out and give the dog, next step is to let the dog slide the peg and take the treat. Next step, place a treat inside the peg and slide it into the wheel and give him the treat, next step let your dog try to slide the peg, etc...You need to have a lot of patient and repeat each step several times. Have fun and praise your dog for eacg succesful step.
My dog started level 3 when he was a 3 month old puppy, he has gotten up to level 4 and can do it quickly in 5 minutes with no help
Wow, great job, some dogs are very clever, sometimes to clever :)
O.o
☕️💕🇫🇷💜I just order one for my shitzu, he is very good for puzzles level 3, so I hope this one can give him a challenge 😂
I hope he will like it.
I’ve been trying to take the plastic thing in the middle I can’t open it 😩😭 tried to cut it with scissors it’s impossible
I'm sorry to say that the plastic part in the middle should not be removed, it divides the Maze into an upper and lower part, and the Maze should not be taken apart. You can try and pull it apart with a lot of force, because you need to remove the cut plastic, and then try to put it back together, I hope this works.
If I want to use it for kibble, how do I get the kibble in? Ms. Nina? A kibble at a time?
The easiest way is to scoop the food in with your hand, if you use smaller kibble you can also use a piece of paper and roll a small cone for filling it.
czcams.com/video/zVsXMRbD8uQ/video.htmlfeature=shared I'm so proud of my pup for figuring it out 🥹🥹🥹. Thanks for coming up with these great puzzles!❤
Thank you, glad you like the puzzles :)
I have a lot of these puzzles. My 12yo pit mix actually works them for his treats but my 11 month old Bernese takes the Dog brick and flips it over to get the treats. She's an impatient puppy 😂
All dogs have different puzzle solving skills :) You can try to freeze the puzzle with a little water and treats, that way he can´t flip it over and treats fell out :)
💕💜🇫🇷☕️love your puzzles, I bought several from level 2-3. I also would like to know the difference character between puzzles for dog and puzzles for cat? Thanks
Glad you like our puzzles. The only difference is that the compartments of the cat puzzle are not as deep, so that the cat can more easily scoop up the food, but cats can also use many of our dog puzzles and dogs can use cat games.
czcams.com/video/zVsXMRbD8uQ/video.htmlfeature=shared my dog loves her puzzle!
☕️🇫🇷💜💕I will order one for my shitzu, he is already on level 3
Enjoy, this is a great puzzle, when placing treats inside the sliding cups it´s a challenging puzzle
isnt it always a chance a couple treats wont come out and the dog will just get frustrated and start chewing it up?
As always with puzzles and food/treats it´s important to supervise the dog, to watch how the dog works with the puzzle and help the dog understand how it works. If dogs find it to difficult they can find their own solution to get to the food, but most dogs can with our help the first attempts learn how to play.
Old video but what happened to these toys? why did they get discontinued? My dog loves this toy, tho its the small version. Takes them 30 minutes or more to empty it. So saddens me i couldn't buy it again.
It was a fantastic product, but it was disconnected because the manufacturing cost became far too high, which affected the consumer price too much unfortunately.
My cat would refuse to work for food😂❤adorable😂
All cats are different, food motivation is necessary with puzzles
Cute😂❤
Lol the dog is just destroying the toy by the end. 😂
Haha, yes. This is from a dog show, his first time trying a puzzle and this is a difficulty level 4 puzzle, way too hard for him, so he tries to break in instead of working his way to the treats
Is it dishwasher safe? I have just bought one x
Yes, if you take all 3 layers apart you can clean it in the dishwasher in lowest temprature. I hope your dog enjoy it.
Super 👍😍
Love your games! I have 3
Do you have a smaller version for small dogs? I saw the one for puppys but it was level 2. I looking for a level 3.
We don´t have a smaller version of the DogWorker in level 3, but this one works great with smaller dogs, the sliding cups is perfect for them.
Bought this Christmas for my dog Jack Russel.. in 10 min he got all the treats pulled out… then I locked all the spaces… it took 20 min.. still looking for dog’s game that would take at least 30-40 min of his attention..
20 minutes is a long time when it comes to puzzles, it is almost impossible to create an affordable puzzle that the dog can work on for over 30 minutes. I would recommend that you freeze the games, add some water or natural yogurt with some different tasty treats or food, this prolong the game time considerably.
@@NinaOttossonPuzzleGames thank you! Now my dog knows the tricks and it’s over in 5 min
Xmas gift bought for my cat as a step up from level 3 puzzle options which are too easy. She worked out the sides so far, needs to up her game for the centre wheel, and haven't yet used the side blockers. I am pleased she doesn't do this one in a couple of minutes, unfortunately this is aided by the fact the product does not work smoothly, a couple of the squares on one side get stuck and they need my force to slide them along, so there's no way the cat could move them with her paw. I don't know whether it's just my puzzle that has a fault or other people have had this issue? I bought this model because it was recommended by some cat owners but as far as I am concerned the design doesn't entirely work for a cat. I appreciate this is made for dogs therefore they made not have the same issues. I found the whole thing clunky, the middle wheel is also hard to spin with a tendency to stick. My cat doesn't tend to be very forceful which isn't in her favour here. Perhaps bigger cats that tend to be more aggressive with their puzzles might have a different experience? Some squares share a common treat pocket underneath which means the treat will slide from one side to the other at each attempt to get it - perhaps this is meant to add to the "difficulty" - it certainly is frustrating. Cat's claws get caught in the outer plastic edge when trying to get the treat out, half of the time she ends up eating the treat by licking right in the pocket. Some bits of treats get in areas where they are difficult to remove from, making this annoying to clean.

Hi, the sliding tiles should be quite easy to slide, don´t know if your cat is to careful when playing or if it has an fault. If you feel there is something wrong with the game you can contact support@outwardhound.com and explain this.

This is too easy for my cat. Please can you design one a bit more complex. Currently trying the Multipuzzle expert level 4 for dogs but too clunky for cats, the wheel does not spin easily and there are various other issues
This is a level 1 treat puzzle, see my answer to you in your other comment on the MultiPuzzle
But my name is nina😂
The dog's trying to take apart the pieces instead of just pushing it haha
I love this. My cairn terrier is extremely smart, we have many of your puzzles, but once he figures out how they work, he quickly begins to plan for a way to cheat. I’ll give this one a try
I hope he likes it
Siento que pone al perro más ansioso
Ella no se pone ansiosa en absoluto, le encantan los juegos, come diariamente su comida de diferentes juegos, es muy inteligente esta chica.
Brilliant my Baby Dog 8 months enjoys this puzzle Thankyou
Glad to hear that, thank you :)
