Thanks for uploading this bit of SP history.
Why did I think the KLF was from detroit?
0:04 right of the bat host not pulling of the fake DJing ^^ Fitting with KLF fake spark shooting guitar ^^
homage to the KLF czcams.com/video/3CEl7cpDe6k/video.html
Brill,my gave track on the roxy
Burning the money is the most punk rock act I can think of that has ever actually happened. The Sex Pistols were still trying to shift albums after they split, even if it was down to Malcolm Mclaren or other record industry money men. Practically everybody, in the West anyway, has the vast majority of their adult lives being dictated to by money or the pursuit of it. K Foundation gave a big fuck you to the concept of money. Mad bastards.
Nice one Nick ☝️💥
A small bit if difference pete
Why do the interviewers talk over him????Lydon is a living legend.
🙂
No difference between KLF and Kylie Minogue? They were great and she was sh**e, for one thing.
I love the KLF.
Rip Freddie!
I can listen to Jeanette all day
Jeanette…brilliant mind, brilliant humour
Bring me Edelweiss, baby!
Both sides 100% Mint
Beutiful story anyone remember watching this on bbc in the late 80s BLAST! Made me who i am today if your normal or gay lol
From my home town of Accrington. Played at the New Era.
Preaches about working class ideologies then charges 450 quid for a book...well done.
Cool
The KLF- the unspoken heroes of electronic and alternative music. An absolute inspiration to me under my name ‘Headsmoke’ with the satirical lyrics and outrageous elements.
I remember him saying the past didn't matter to Tom Snyder. How life and age changes people.
make more copies of this book please.
Energetic lil rascals aint they !?!? SOLID SENDERS !!
Left field and Africa Bambata I like pil 🎸❤️ sonnhelnstrahl und die Licht strahlen
They really were geniuses.
Does that new plastic money burn? (I know £50s are still paper...I think?)
💥🔥😔🤬🙌🤲🤝👉👈🤞🙅🙆👼
Mucho mejor ahora.
I love how Anne Robinson realises she isn't in Jeanette's class in any way, and can't help showing she doesn't like it.
The greatest of the crooners and a lovely man.
Absolutely.
The KLF predicted DAWs and home recording. "It's obvious that in a very short space of time the Japanese will have delivered the technology and then brought the price of it down so that you can do the whole thing at home"
K pop in Korea?
In fact the Americans (Atari) and the Germans (Steinberg) made the DAW and the hardware to run it on, but the Japanese (together with Americans) made the infrastructure which was the base: MIDI. The best affordable synthesizers and drum machines at the time were all Japanese: Korg M1, Yamaha DX7/TX81z, Roland D50/TR909/TR808/TB303/JV-series, ... and so were the samplers: AKAI. Without the Japanese electronic dance music would have been completely different. They were topnotch!
Gotta love the Sex Pistols
She ain’t no human being
Ah, the old oak tree. Its a shame they had to take it down, Shit had history.
Did you rehearse at New Era bro?
Yes they did, down in the basement boiler room which had an old freezer
Wow
Dada, pure and simple.
He'$ alright 😈
ALL my life I've pointed out how I love all living life but think that without mosquitos we could very well do
Brilliant....
I'm impressed and fully agree...
Then you’re a dickhead
Do you have a video of the entire episode of the show?? It is not to be found online any more and I loved it!!!
Why do people get so upset with the KLF for burning that money....how many other artists spend the sniff the same amount of money up their noses or spend that much on a couple of parties? But nobody thinks there is anything wrong with that. It is insane
good point, it was theirs earnt and the did so
I wish more people would do it to be honest with you. Break the spell that anything good could ever come from money.
Most people, unfortunately, worship money. That’s all they see as success in life.
Today
Actually it was only about 40,000 pounds that got burned.
Wrong. They nailed that to a wooden board (Turner Art Prize spoof) 6 months before burning a million on the Island of Jura.
Hey up, this lot were from Accy
Is that Martika giving them Brit award??
KLF is better than Kyle minougue, in my opinion.
