    Looks great, but from your ad manager it also shows that you used close to 1,000,000 in ad spend if I'm not mistaken? Thats A LOT of money :D I imagine this could be a really nice sucess for businesses selling digital goods etc, but if the business is selling a product that costs 50 or 40% of the retail price, and you factor in shipping costs, you would barely be breaking even :)

      Dude if any brand has 40-50% margins you will not scale like this lol. You can't make it if you don't have higher margins. This brand did $617k in profit from that scale-up. So a pretty big chunk + high-margin products. Way higher then 50%.

      yea petty sure it was using aftersell but the offer was the same product they bought but with copy similar to "would be stupid to not grab more colors on this steal of a deal" it was a cart pre-sell

      Well we use clickup for project management. So I'd say you need to start there. I have no idea if you have a system or process and how structured it is, but we are very structured as you have seen. I don't know if you are a brand or agency, but shoot me a dm on X, LinkedIn, or IG. I may be able to help streamline this by teaching you how we do it. We have a whole process and system.

    Thanks for your video, as always jam-packed with value. Two questions: 1) Which bidding strategy do you use in your testing campaigns and in your scaling campaigns? 2) When you graduate winning ads from the testing campaign to the higher-budget scaling campaign, do you remove them simultaneously from the testing campaign?

      Sure let me answer your questions. 1. I use automatic biding which is just the highest volume. No bids. 2. I move them when they have proven to be winners. It's brand/product specific but generally 3-4 purchases while hitting KPIs. I will keep that ad on when I graduate it to the scaling campaign UNTIL it starts to pick up steam in the scaling campaign.

      ​@@Raymond.Johnston Ok. 1) The bidding topic is a hot one in the Meta ads community, as it should be! Your approach is to always give the algorithm full wiggle room to spend on / scale the winning creatives, while pausing ads that match the performance criteria you've set up. 2) Totally agree on keeping the 'graduated' ads in the testing campaign until they start to gain traction in the scaling campaign. In fact, new campaign/new ad set = new performance history (just like in Google ads). Perfect, thanks a ton buddy!

    Thank you very much Raymond for the value and your work. I hope all your advice will one day allow me to delegate my campaigns to Right Hook 🤞 I have a question about the rules for cutting an ad. Let's imagine that the Kpis are very good at the start and that little by little the performance of the ad drops with fewer sales. How long are you looking at a window to make a decision to cut (eg: one week)? PS: I'm running a haircaire brand in Morocco and CPMs are about 1.5$ so I'm always above break even and profitable. I generally cut when the CPA becomes above average with a 2 week window.

      SO we look back on a 3 day, 7day, then 14 day. i.e. if last 3 days are good keep it on. Then if last 7 days are good, keep it on, etc.

    Facebook meta outright stole 40 grand i spent on very professional very engaging ads. Facebook makes you spend 1000s on ads to get fake followers fake likes no engaugement. Then they say its simply your fault. Its all deception fraud and theft

      no they didn't. Not saying it wasn't a screw up or that you didn't have a good experience but I have a 50 brands we work with where that's not the case. They are making money from facebook ads.

    Love your shift from net profit % to net profit volume. Talking about more money in the bank! We don't put percentages in the bank and anyway as we know profit margin is hard to maintain as we scale. I've seen that you've got three active Advantage+ shopping prospecting campaigns for this brand. Do you do that to split out well-performing creatives with different themes/concepts (that you've 'graduated' from the testing campaigns), while preventing Meta from taking the lead with budget allocation, considering we don't have the option to set up budgets at the ad set-level in Advantage+ shopping? And speaking of budget, when you run standard (non-advantage+) prospecting campaigns, do you typically set up budgets at the campaign or ad set-level?

      So we do separate campaigns for different biz objectives. Generally a testing campaign but a campaign per objective. i.e. one for product x, one for product y, etc. We set budgets at campaign level.

      Approaching the question of "how to prevent others" is a matter of WHEN not IF question. It is pointless to try to keep secrets as they will, eventually, be taken from you. If your setup depends on being the only one who knows.. eventually it'll come bite you in the butt.
