Some further information -
✅ Cambelt kit and water pump done at 65k miles
✅ Haldex oil changed and gauze cleaned just after ~ 66k miles
✅ Fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter, oil filter and oil changed at 76.5k
✅ Conservatively mapped to 193bhp and 323lb ft torque - over 10k miles, no issues
✅ VAG 312mm front disc upgrade with new pads and rear pads too
✅ L&K 'boreal wood' dash inserts (standard 'aluminium' available too)
✅ Swan neck towbar with full function 13 pin electrics
➡️ I've done 17k miles in a year and it's been faultless
➡️ It's ALWAYS driven with mechanical sympathy
➡️ Probably one of the best cars I've ever had. Certainly the one that has got under my skin the most.
➡️ Does everything well - day to day trips, European road trips, hauls the caravan etc
➡️ Heaps of room, no issues etc
➡️ 2100kg towing limit
It's up for sale in various places.
Having thought about a Kodiaq initially, it has now been replaced with a 5 series touring.

Full oil and filter change this time on my CBF 1000 project. Genuine Honda oil filter and Motul 10/40 'Road' oil. Fairly simple, straight forward job and crucial to do reasonably often for the good of your bike. Enjoy.

Just got a 2009 cbf 1000 with abs, looking for the diagnostic plug so I can fit a gear indicator, have found a couple of possibilities under the main seat, any help would be appreciated

Well I just bought a cbf 1000 07 18000 miles 2 months ago, I done the oils and filter aswell. I'll be watching your channel and will probably follow you and do mine once I watch yours, can wait for the spark plugs ahhhhh. Take care pal.
