I just LOVE the way you use color, it makes so much sense. Using color has always baffled me for some reason, and I am just now feeling the call to bring way more attention to how I use it. I always appreciate your demonstrations.

Three minutes in and I'm already impressed by the likeness. By the end I think, 'this is what you achieve when you're not sure what you're doing?' Too good. Also, as someone who uses Conté crayons, I'm amazed to hear them described as softer than _anything!_

I don't believe in advertising our sexuality. I would rather had narration about the painting process. However, her story was interesting. I think her hair was too auburn in the final painting. Her hair looked more blonde to me... She is a lovely young woman!

A lovely painting holiday a fun group

I came across your vlog by chance. Loved your tour around Skipton. I don’t live too far away from there and most of the places you went are very familiar to me, a couple of them I had to really think where they might be. My father’s side of the family came from Skipton and my father was baptised in the parish church by the castle. Should you visit that area again then you may also like to visit Ilkley which is the next town along and only a short drive (or bus ride) from Skipton. They have a good art shop there plus there is a superb view from the top of Ilkley moor looking down over the valley. Many a painting has been produced from there.

i would imagine that shop gets a certain sully chain only and cant get what you would use in the states, the brands i saw where french and spanish

Very cool Susan and Scott, love it. Visted UK in 2007 and would go back to paint or live. Did not paint there then, was with non-painter family and friends. Never Ever do that, folks, if you are a painter!!! LOL. Did a bit in France, 2002, and Austria and Germany in 2000, but you have to sort of "sneak away" to do it. Loved the pub food and drink everywhere, and UK gets a bum wrap about their cuisine, IMO! Even the haggis was pretty good in Scotland, did you try it? It is certainly "adventuristic". And, of course, you Must eat it, just like the snails (little "Pink Pearl erasers" I called them, LOL) in France!! Dull days for painting there, but still nice, especially for the architectural scenes. Too bad, only 9,456 potential paintings did I see there in your great vid shots!! LOL. ;D Cheers from sunny southern AZ, where it is too hot to paint outside, so working from my photos, ...and I'm doing some 8x10 portrait sketches, from images I found on Pinterest, to keep up my drawing skills, in studio, ...but on my Open Box M, plein air landscape set up! LOL. :D

Beautiful There is an app called picture this, and if you see a plant or tree that you don't know what it is or are unsure about, you simply take a picture of the plant and it tells you exactly what it i. I love it!!!
