like I said in the video, it would be extremely difficult to make a moving engine this large, so I will build static large models, and moving small models. Not to mention, greyboard (the main material used to build this model) just is not suitable for making moving models at this size.

Cool model
Well done! To me, making a static engine would be a waste of my time. A friend uses those Asian speed controls and a Lithium battery to run the battery Lima and Triang O gauge locos. he keeps the reversing switch in circuit. Sometimes I think you are too worried about flex. Rigid loco chassis are more prone to derailing usually.
To stop having issues with paint first give the model several coats of Shellac. It will also stiffen up the card. I have carriages painted in acrylic and no warping has happened due to the water based top coats. Might also give more life to your wheels.
Good to see you are using much better cardboard. Just like the Cardboard Works bunch led by John Fownes I use 0.6mm cardboard from a newsagent.
Oh hey percy
Oh hey oliver
Oh hey duck
Oh hey henry

Will you consider making corris railway no 4
4:54, I’ve bought a similar gear kit for my own locomotives (still thinking either gauge 1 or o scale), how did you get that large pulley on the axle? Did you widen the hole? Is the axle thinner?
When are you coming back?
Make a tutorial for the valve gear
Ayo was that hornby Thomas. & Thomas' class!?!?
Cardboard locomotives as they should be; actually cardboard and not a card/exposed Lego hybrid.
Can u show how to do the side rods steam big engine
Hey can you a valve gear please my train keep broke i have to fix it.
7:25 yes that is a method of doing that and its correct if you do the wheels right
Ive seen a B1 in real life (61306 Mayflower) and this looks really close to real life. Well done
HOW!!! HOOOOW!!!😡🤩😳
I am gonna try my hand in something like this. Thank you for posting stuff like this.
any updates on this huge project?
Nah I just use Elmer 'so glue 😊
Dose anyone know if he actually finished the lms fowler dock tank?
Yep, I did :) finished it a few years ago now, its in storage at the moment but is still in one peice!
I LOVE IT. Imagine if you make Thomas the tank engine
Plsease make tutorials bcoz it is so confusing 😅
Hey arthur can you show me how you do the motor please
that is AWESOME
thanks!

Could you make tinker bell from the nene valley railway
Im currently watching some of your videos and im just amazed, when i was little i tried doint somethig similair but my loco kept falling apart. Thanks to you im inspired to try again
Thank you!! yep don't worry, my old models never lasted a day before falling apart aswell 😂
Excelente trabajo amigo, me gustaría construir una locomotora a vapor, de momento he construido puras diesel! Saludos 😀👍
Tornado is my favourite locomotive.
I love Walschaeart's valve gear. Don't replace anything, it looks amazing.
How did you do the connecting rods Arthur ?
On this model I used kebab sticks, which is essentially 3mm dowel, and the bearings are paper straws glued on
I would love to have one
Could you make an American steam engine?
possibly at some point!! could take a while though
@@arthurb354 ok
How about yo make Thomas the tank engine i Will want to see that video if its real
your trains are so cool :o
thanks!!
👌
The fourth thing that I forgot to ask is what country is the railway Club located in because I am located in the US is it located in the UK
Yep its in the UK
Oh well I'm located in the US
Do you have Twitter
3 thing 1: is that track public? 2: what gauge is it ? 3: where is the track located?
It consists of 5", 3 1/2", 45mm and 32mm, and its located in Westbury, check out their website for details about membership: wwsme.org/
Do you remember a guy and lego beast 6000 or something like that years ago I made the 2 like 2 end push cart thing years ago in I wanna say 2019 and you made a tutorial about it
I think I do remember something similar? I don't think I have the video but I vaguely remember something like that
He lives
Can I have some links to all the electronics and how do you control it
