Where can I buy that exact kit
This stuff doesn't work well at all
Amazing solution
My pool has a leak if u can help me to detect where the leak is
Esa Inyeccion para q sirve... Gracias
So I added air first to make sure my plug was not leaking then went to water test.....If you add air first then water 2nd would it still be a slower drop in the water test?
Mine won’t fit in my return. Anything I can do to modify to make it work
Can this detect leaks around stairs, lights or main drains
You may get some competing signal from the ground connections that occur at those locations, but the LeakTrac will still be able to detect leaks around these areas.
Sweet. I want one.
Worked great today! Thank you for sending me the Big Blue Blower so quickly! Duck plugs worked well too, but the yellow caps were a bit finicky... Hopefully they'll figure out something better soon.
Hello could you tell me what fittings and sizes for the pressure tester and gauge please
When the guy came to my place and did this , he suggested they had scuba divers that would actually fix the hole for $400 cdn. I proceeded to use one of his red grease crayons , taped it to the end of my pool pole. Then he showed me precisely where to put the patch and I marked the spot with the red crayon. I went under to do my own dye test when he was gone, then I patched it myself. ( he actually gave me a patch from a liner sample book . I didn’t use my clear transparent patches because with time I find they get mouldy (but still work )
Will this system work on a fibreglass pool. Where the fibreglass has been laminated onto an existing Marblelite surface. Another question, will this work on a Marblelited sufarce or tiled pool
Yes, this system will work on a fiberglass pool, but will not work on a Marbelite or tile pool.
Where can I get text equipment?
Can you use the mesh to cover a hole that is about 1.2" to 2" in diameter, or could you affix a pach of pvc first before applying the mesh to hold it in place?
what would the cost for this detection be?
Advice to all pool owners. If it happened that your pump was replaced because it was running out of water, the most possible place of leaking is close to connection with the pump due to the heat occurred from the burnt old pump. So concentrate on searching that area before spending a lot of $$. This is from my own experience
I have the newest model of the Leak Trac ... If you fix pool leaks and think youd like to have one of these GET ONE! It is so worth the money... Saves time from diving and looking for leaks by eye.... And makes you look very professional. Leak Trac works AWESOME!!
I see the point your trying to make is your not listening to just air or just water, but bubbles comming up through muddy or wet soil, as soon as the soil dries out the noise is gone.
Yo man our Anderson pressure test didn't have that release valve and I unplugged a line that was somehow still under pressure, even though the plug on the tester end was already removed. Little bits of sand were blown out of the return line into my hand with such force it broke skin.
Thanks for the video. Just placed an order.
Is it OK to use rechargeable batteries ? They are rated at only 1.2v each.
What is the lowest operating voltage of the Booster Pack ?
This comment is for those who used fix-a-leak once and it did not fix the leak. This is the 21st Century. We no-longer have to depend solely on a microphone then break up concrete and dig. We now have cameras that we can feed into pipes to detect breaks. What we need is a camera kit which can feed a camera into the pipe. Camera can be equipped with a listening device for air, or dye release for water. Once the leak is found, a repair device can be sent into the pipe to deposit epoxy or other sealant.
Lol thank you. I'm a pool pro getting into leak detection and this is a great idea for me.. I even have a wire camera already..
thank you sir
funciona en piscinas de hormigon y revestidos de azulejos ?
If only you worked in my city! Excellent video, thank you.
Good day how can I get a test kit like that
how about a concrete tiled pool? and i assume the pool must be empty when this system is used?
No, it is really only for PVC liner pools.
Basically, if you know where the leak is, then this product is for you ;(
Just wish you'd done it with water in the skimmer. (If you want to do a demo that way, my skimmer's available *L*)
How can I get one of those kit to buy
Thank you for the video. I purchased your product..I think I have enough glue to glue together my entire pool back together! :-) Anyway, how thick should I apply the glue if I am not using the fiberglass mesh? Do I apply it like I would spackle on drywall or leave it as a bead of glue?
I would use the mesh to strengthen the repair. Will probably make the repair last much long than just using the glue by itself.
Do you guys ship to South Africa? I'm keen to get this system to add to my Plumbing Leak Detection..

Can this device detect the smallest of leaks ?
Hi Karl - Yes, the LeakTrac 2400 is able to detect even pinhole sized leaks in vinyl liners.
@@Leaktools Hi the local pool guys came in today with the leak trac 2400 which they used for the first time.. i am wondering if they earthed correctly since they said did not hear any peak in sound. he said he heard the same clicking sound constantly throughout the pool scanning, are you supposed to hear anything ? because seeing the video you should not hear any clicking unless you are in a direction of a leak, though again this guy told me it was a constant click every couple of seconds.
@@Leaktools to add to the above the sensitivity was on the highest.
Yes, even the tiniest of holes in the liner.
Great video!
One of the best pieces of equipment we have purchased. Makes life so much easier.
Awsome vid bud , can you recommend how i can find a trusted company like yourself or how i can research someone to come out & test my pool plumbing ???
where are you located ?
East NC
What package is this kit?
so you just told me that your product doesnt work
TV shows çççč
Great informative video...easily understood
If you're testing the suction side, why would you close the return jet?
I find that when you located the exact point of the leak, you expose the pipe and realize a brace from the pool has broken the pipe. 95% of my repairs = New return lines away from the over dig and back fill of crappy installers.
seems fixed now
See
Having this done tomorrow on my pool. Had issues all last season with no suction coming from the skimmers. Praying I don't have leaking underground piping as that's easily a several-thousand dollar repair job here in the Northeast.
