Mr. Oscilloscope
United States
Registrace 1. 08. 2021
Hello and welcome! I just make videos with Oscilloscopes and MIDIs.
My goal for this channel is to improve and become better at doing oscilloscope deconstruction, and my overall goal is to make oscilloscope deconstruction for all types of sequenced music, wether it be console or computers.
I do accept requests for the following (I’ll update it as I find ways to get sequenced music/MIDIs on different consoles/computer games)
NES/SNES
GameBoy (some of them)
Nintendo 64
GameCube/Wii (if you know that the game has sequenced music, I’ll look into it.)

Inside Peach's Castle (Inside the Castle Walls) – Super Mario 64 (Deconstructed Oscilloscope)
Okay so the walls that I originally repaired had a lot more issues under the rug, because I cheaped out on materials. I decided to go for the more expensive and quality material. It's getting repaired, again.
This is essentially a remaster of one of my older videos that I didn't like. In this case the other one has so volume issues, wrong sample in Channel 4 (Formerly Channel 2), and Incorrect channel placement. I fixed it, and I decided to touch it up with a few enchantments:
- Added a nice thumbnail to make it look more visually appealing to click on.
- Added some more reverb to the channels, so that way it doesn’t sound unnatural due to throw the samples sound.
- Exported to a higher resolution (1080p to 1440p)
- Added a bit of a cameo appearance to the incorrect channel sample I chose. I’ll embrace my mistakes.
And most importantly, TIMESTAMPS!:
0:00 Channel 2
1:01 Channel 0
2:02 Channel 1
3:04 Channel 0, 2, and 4
4:05 Channel 0 (Second Half), 1 and 3
5:06 Channel 0 and 1 (Call-and-Response), 2, and 4
6:07 Channel 0 and 1 (One-by-one), and 4
7:09 Channel 2, 3, 4, and Cameo Appearance!
8:09 Channel 0, 1 and 3 (One-by-one)
9:11 All Channels
10:12 Wall has Been Rebuilt!
SOFTWARE USED:
FL Studio 21: www.image-line.com/fl-studio-download/
(I used the trial as a I don't have to do much. I used FL Studio 21 because I can actually control volume of each audio track better than 20)
SidWizPlus: github.com/maxim-zhao/SidWizPlus/releases
(How I make and export all Oscilloscopes. Slightly confusing at first but it's not bad.)
N64 MIDI and Soundbank Tool:github.com/jombo23/N64-Tools/releases/tag/3ae0013 (How I managed to extract and rip sequences fromthe N64. Pretty accurate but it’s pretty annoying to deal with sometimes.)
Corrscope:github.com/corrscope/corrscope
(An alternative to making oscilloscope that I actually never really use, it's a slight learning curve, but it's not bad. I don't use it since it's too slow to run on my older computer)

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - Littleroot Town (Deconstructed Oscilloscope)
zhlédnutí 2KPřed rokem
Ah yes, that one town that has a really wonky unused version of the music with terrible looping points. September is pokemon month for this channel, so give me your suggestions for pokemon songs to do! I'll do my best to rip them and deconstruct them.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of The Kingdom - Battle Medley (Cave, Deconstructed Oscilloscope)
zhlédnutí 7KPřed rokem
Had to fix an issue with massive amounts of clipping in the original one, so that's why this is a "reupload" technically. Other than the dang Stone Taluses and those monkeys, I managed to deconstruct the cave without too much issues. I wanted showcase a bit more than I did before with the Main Overworld so this is why its a bit longer. Also, I added the Outros from the main overworld purely to ...

Me waiting on Coconut mall from Mario Kart Wii Make it happennnn! Love these!
Channel 6 isn’t whisling, it’s a high-potched sine wave edited a bit
0:04 whistling solos tbh and it’s just an opinion
My favorite video game song of all time!! I was surprised to hear that most of the song comes from just one of the channels.
❤
I kinda like this one better than botw
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, HUH???????????
I LOVE THIS!
I dunno why I always thought the solo was the banjo but it's very clearly the violin lol
Can you make the first part a one hour version?
It's lacking the kick and snare. This osc view is incomplete.
This is fantastic
Me wen I walk down the street
I love how some channels are written to be ever so slightly off beat or out of tune. Really adds to the insanity.
This is so much better than the ww version
you screwed up the drums hoss
1:51 ultimate brain scratch oh my god
Bass: Rolls Royce (Merlin) Drums: North American
Insane how good the sound quality was in this game. For a 90 game really good
It's really funny to listen to stuff like Goldeneye, Star Fox 64 or even the unfonished music from Dinosaur Planet and compare it to later versions of the games, but you get to Mario 64 and the N64 Zelda games and they're so ridiculously clear and crisp.

Can you do some oscilloscope views of the other Mega Man 9 and 10 tracks?😄🤩😎👌
Wait, Mega Man 9 and 10 used 4 pulse wave channels and 2 noise channels?!😮😱🤯😶🌫️
Yessir! Love this!

3 Issues with this video that i have noticed as an SM64 modder for music and what not, 1. The bass is completely off, this should've used HMC Lead, This is using slap bass, 2. The reverb isn't present in the N64 version, 3. The snare is wrong. but i wanna point out the differences in this video as its not completely accurate.
Man, i love this video so much
I am confused as to why Channels 0 and 1 are exclusively strings?
Channel 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 10: Violin Channel 5, 7: Rhodes Piano? Channel 6: Orchestral Harp Channel 9: Percussion
Love your videos!
very nice!
:)
make this into a downloadable file
I've been Oscilloscope-rolled.
For some reason this gives me brief flashbacks to how I experienced the game when I was 4 years old. Being the first 3d game and me still being new to the world, it created a distinct impression on me. Something I usually can’t remember as an adult without seeing it through my adult lense. Thanks for giving me that experience!
Crazy how I've heard this song so many times yet the channels seem to go in such unexpecting ways at parts
idc if i already did this before on this exact music deconstruction, so here you go Channel 0 - Strings Ensemble Channel 1 - Strings Ensemble Channel 2 - Strings Ensemble Channel 3 - Pizzicato Strings Channel 4 - Bassoon
Useful! I give you props for that, here's a 📌
@@mr.oscilloscope Aaaaaaaa thank you
you're welcome!
@@MBSpeedruns sure, i can try
It kinda sounds like the oot shop theme like very slightly at the beginning
Had to relisten to the shop theme. It does actually, rhythmic wise it does. Could possibly be a very minor idea that Mr. Koji Kondo remembered and he readded that into the shop theme. Then again it can be coincidental, who knows.
3:02 Old Regular 64
0.75x sounds like the beta version of the wingcap
