What is remarkable is that Agrippa, Octavian are all the same age. In this version of Rome I can see the guilt and confusion in Octavians face. Marrying Octavia to his best friend is the correct move. It keeps Agrippa and Octavia happy, neutralizes his own wife and keeps the a possible heir from the Julio-Claudian line instead of Tiberius.
I like how their relationship/love developed over time~ His character was a good man.

Augustus was grief stricken . Augustus did a heart felt emotionally packed eulogy , and he,personally placed Agrippa's ashes inside his own mausoleum. They were brothers , not in blood , but in spirit.
Marcus Agrippa was a great general, but I wouldn't say he was the greatest Roman general!! That question is not answerable, there we're many remarkable and great general's from Ancient Rome!! 🙂
