I'll never forget sitting through the end credits in amazement this is what they chose. Then THAT word came in. Master humorists and trolls, that Parker and Stone.
I got to see it for the first time in theaters last night for the fathom event and had a fantastic time!! (I had only been able to see it on tv or streaming service previously) 🔵🟩🔴🟠
Came here since Death Battle finally reached the end of the 2023 Tournament of Champions… Still hope that Death Battle still continues regardless of RT’s shutdown.
Ngl, the first time I heard this, I didn’t even consider the possibility, let alone know, that this was Michael McDonald singing. I genuinely assumed that it was Trey Parker doing his fake rock voice. XD
God, I really miss when movies had these kind of credit songs. I know it's meant to be a parody, but it still reminds me of what credits in movies USED to be like.
This song, imo, is symbolic of not just the movie, but of South Park in general. It shows that children may seem innocent and view the world as magical, but there is also a hidden dark side to them. In the context of the movie, that can relate to things like the swearing, the bits with Satan/Hussein etc.
As humorous as the lyrics are, this song as a whole including the music is beautifully done. When I listen to this song, I can't help but think back to all the good times I had in my childhood and it does make me a little sad that those years are long gone. Even though my childhood was a long time ago, I'll always treasure those happy memories.
my parents saw this movie. my dad was like 20 and my mom was 14. they said this movie was an experience to see in theaters. my dads fav moment is kenny revealing his face, and it still is his fav sp moment, for my mom, its this song. me and her love this type of music. i watched it myself, since my parents basically rubbed their experiences in my face, and it was epic asf. and this song had me crying, as i am a child, but the world doesnt even seem magical to me anymore 😢
This is honestly one of my favourite Michael McDonald songs in South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. It's gets REALLY good every time I listen to this beautiful and emotional song!
South Park really teaches you especially from this movie, no matter how foul-mouthed youth is, youth and the next generation can right the wrong of the old generation.
"life is kinda gay / but it doesnt seem that way / through the eyes of a child" looool

Top notch.
The type of song that would be played during the end credits for a movie like South Park
My car is pretty nasty. I wish i knew steve 😭
It has no reason to go this hard
For real Love
This shit makes my hairs stand on end
I love that Michael McDonald did South Park, especially since Trey continuously imitates him in songs
Elton John Soundtrack

This is a real song right?

Why is this song impossible to find on Spotify or ITunes ?
Such a great song, but i'm just dying with laughter over hearing Michael calling children "bastards" towards the end.
I wish this movie would put circle of life by Elton John instead of eyes of a child
Put it at 2x. Nice.
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut *(1999)*
my new movie can come for new soundtrack about me and my friends
Happy Valentines 🎉❤😮🎉❤
Esta Cancion Se Me Hace Que Debio Estar En Los Oscar.👍
Has anybody dared 2 sing this song on American Idol yet?! 😂😂😂😂
I didnt think this track suited South Park but hearing it again it makes a perfect tribute to Mary Kay Bergman
The fact that this is a really well produced song actually makes it funnier
Happy New Year!!!!!!

Man now I want Micheal McDonald’s friend Steve to detail my car.
South Park Movie music still a classic to this day

Sounds like Chef singing that song

wtf what part of the movie was this from
the end credits
Rest In Peace Mary Kay Bergman And Isaac Hayes.
😭
Yeah... :-(
Who?
Never mind I found out who they were my apologies
Sure life is kinda gay, but it doesn't seem that way, through the eyes of a child. Gets me laughing every time.
"Life is kind of gay, but it doesn't seem that way through the eyes of a child." That can mean the kid could see happiness in the world he is at.
Sure life is kind of gay, but it doesn't seem that way, through the eyes of a child.
This song almost sounds like “Can you feel the love tonight” by Elton John from The Lion King
I come back to this song every week because I love it so much. What a way to end such an emotional film for me. KMIABFB.
I'm surprised this song didn't get Oscar nominated like Blame Canada did.
When I watched this movie as a kid I thought this was Trey Parking singing the song in his Satan voice
This is a great South Park and it’s perfect for slow dancing and when a future comes I would play that song at my wedding.
I love the comments saying the song is heartwarming and sad when it’s just a pisstake on overly sappy pop ballads.

i know its a joke song for south park but i reallly thought it was great
