The deplorable condition of this Pothole Riggled Road need much to be desirsd. For a while I thought fish 🦆🐟duck and fishes are pig 🐖 were occupying the facilities I saw. That's how bad things are in this area. Government, people in this area are disgruntled. Please act now!!

Over the years, there are people who live/lived all over Jamaica 🇯🇲. Whenever any land is designated for the purpose of building roads, statistics which are saved should give the ideas needed.🇯🇲🚧🏡💦☂️🙆🚴
Michael, you are absolutely right. ✅️ They widen this section to cater to anticipated increased traffic flow. However, they didn't address existing bottleneck sections in Morant Bay and elsewhere. The additional vehicular traffic will have to pass through existing sections of the roadway that are already congested. The backlogs will be worse.

Pity the money for the spark road wasn't available before this started. Some of it could have gone to this project to make it 4 lanes In 18 years time it will be needed with the amount of new community and population.

The highway cost more money, but in the long run you're going to save more on fuel and wear and tear on your vehicle. If a country like Jamaica needs to move forward we need highways to move from point A to B in good time because time is money? We need a 4 or 6 lane highway from Bull Bay to Morant Point and have exit at certain intervals. We need a special overweight permit for trucks and tractor trailers 😊

No Michael you are wrong more vehicles use the queens highways for st Ann to mobay and it was supposed to be a toll road and all the ppl who live in all these areas where the improvements is happening now would be forgotten and away from the development and virtually leave those places into a ghost town in the future if the highway is needed then it will happen provide job opportunities for those ppl who will be around in that time allow the space to grow to its full potential then expand

Yeah the toll road was going to be from Bull Bay to Morant Bay, through the mountain range of the Blue mountains. This section of the road project the PNP government hands in it? 😊 Because the previous government contracted Stanley Consultant from the United States to do a feasibility study, new alignment and design. There's an article on Jamaica Information Service website: Gov't to Undertake Feasibility Study For South Coast Highway Project. July 29, 2012. Go find the article and read it? St Thomas do need a 4 or 6 lane highway from Bull Bay to Morant Bay cutout the journey through Roach Gully? 😊
The reason why JLP said St.Thomas don't need a highway because they wanted to take $100 million USD from the St Thomas highway project to the Montego permiter road? That didn't happen because Portia Simpson Miller did sign off on the project. The Andrew Holness, Mike Henry and Audley Shaw had to go back to China to change the contract? 😢
