This is basically my hair journey. I did a lot of research, watched lots of videos (many of them yours!) and just really tried to educate myself. I had been coloring my roots for over a decade so I had permanent color all over my hair (level 5ish!). I knew that if I wanted to keep my hair as healthy as possible (and to bleach through all the color), it could easily take up to 5 or 6 sessions. I also cut a few inches at the bottom each time I went in. I mentally prepared myself for that warm/orangey blonde, and the contrast of the cooler roots with warmer ends once the toner came out. I'm now *almost* at the color I want to be 🤗 It's so worth it! I think when people go back to coloring it dark because they aren't happy after the first session are just prolonging the inevitable.

I disagree! I recently bought those foiling combs comes in a 3pk...and even their largest comb I feel is babylight weaves...and not only did it shave some time off my foiling...these hilites blended beautifully! I was shocked! No lines of demarcation...give them a try! I like the smallest comb around the hairline for that Scandinavian hilite/money piece look...

I heard that using olive oil and combing it throughout the hair making sure it’s all over is better than olaplex because of the natural amino acids. 😊
