I guess your professional fucked it up, eh? Gel staining fiber glass doors is not easy. You have to work really fast. Wipe the excess with a brush and clean the brush on a rag. Use long even strokes. Very hard when you do 8 foot entry doors. Same day stain is the only product that works for me.
How are you cleaning the door after sanding?
Use what is called a “tack cloth” its basically a really sticky rag that is used to whipe up dust after sanding. You just rub it all over the door after

Use a mask and gloves, if You value your lungs, heart, liver, blader, and Brain. Use gloves, don't forget this, through the skin You can ruin permanently vital organs.

I really like the Stodoys plans.
You should always tape off your brake lines when gel staining a door. The slightest amount of overlap screw up everything up
You can also clean up your brake lines with acetone

Looks shite to me, where is your matching out? Even id you dont match out you should always mist a little light fast colour between coats especially on water based lacquer. Leave it to the experts.

Exactly never answered what type of stain it was. Wiping, penetrating, gel, oil ,water.

To anyone watching this, DO NOT FOLLOW THIS!!! Waterborne paint still has esters that will shorten your life if you don't take the proper precautions. No respirator, no gloves and bad paint technique. I painted professionally for years and owned my own shop. If I caught anyone doing this I would have fired them immediately.
