Looks very fun until lines tangle. And there are a lot of lines to tangle. My small training kite with far fewer lines can be pain to untangle even over land.

Great idea. Just a guess, but the floating cord/ webbing on the tips is off an adjustable cap. Like on the top end of a windsurfing mast. Maybe. The frame is two top ends of a conventional windsurfing mast. With an adjustable middle piece. Where a one sided boom would attach. Only have One frame that Would adjust to multiple wing sizes. No more pumping wings up, clear and durable sail material that is easy to see through. Just guesses

Needs a longer lead

I still don't fully understand how this works... I understand hydrofoil to a degree... And I've seen the ones that you have to pump to keep them up/going. But I don't understand how the wing is so effective at keeping it moving and up. Take 2:10 for example. She starts pumping, like I would think you need to do with a hydrofoil to keep it up, but it didn't seem like she needed to... Somehow, the wing is still providing lift? Even though shes not holding it in a sail/wind grabbing position... I want to go do this so bad!

Imagine putting some longer lines on that thing so you could really get it flying fast and thus generating even more power up higher where the air currents are cleaner. I bet that could even become an Olympic sport someday.

Its really good in that the kite is small and easy to transport and store and keep clean and dry. Would love to try all those type of sports one day but in the past owning and maintaining all the kit has been a bit of a turn off, being that I live a long way from the coast so wouldnt get used so regularly.

I could watch this all day.

First hand testing on land…Parawing is more robust than Pocket wing…just ordered BRM 5.1 m should get it by 9/18…both BRM & pocket wing can be used as a back-up stowed in a belt..In case you blow out your wing in the ocean or middle of the bay. Help a friend rescued a guy in the middle of SF bay in Palo Alto, who blew his wing `s main bladder…foil (Armstrong-may too light…so it won’t sink into water fast enough when flipped) punctured it by accident. Took a long time to tow him in to safety. “Pocket wing” is more affordable tho to use as a back-up wing, if there s wind.
