I didn't realise it was only 6 months ago, but at least you are remembering him all of the time, so he still lives in you. ❤❤❤ My most anticipated film in probably years, is the upcoming Alien "Rom-bus-lo-nus" which thankfully looks very good from the Trailers. I couldn't bear to see another of my favourite childhood franchises shit on by clueless, dickhead morons, who ruin it. 😢 Loved the first Pool Movie and curiously, I've never seen the second, even though I grabbed the blu-ray on it's day of release. Don't know why I've never watched it?... I shall do a triple movie Hoe-down with this. Watch 1 and 2 at home, then go see 3 immediately after, at the cinema! Ayyyyyy!!!

Do a season 2. It's time to accept that every SW project going forward will have a massive online backlash, mostly fueled by AI and bots, attached to it. The franchise is now just the latest battleground in a cultural war. The actual criticism of this show has been sparse, and I agree with some of it, including the Osha criticisms, but it's time for Disney to double down. Don't Rob me of my Plagueis because some dudes have never had sex. I don't think we're supposed to feel good when Sol dies. I think Osha's actions are somewhat justified, given that this man upended her life and largely destroyed her family because he was on a misconceived nobility kick. I don't think we should be "mad" at the black female character taking control back into her life by killing a member of the galaxy's top power structure who lied to her for years about killing her family and then essentially kidnapped her. I think it's a testament to the writing that the viewer is conflicted in the moment she Force chokes Sol. It's meant to be grueling, brutal, to challenge the audience. We as the viewer's understand Sol is a good person who made a mistake, but for Osha, it's personal in the most extreme way. Her actions align with that extremism, just as Sol's align with someone bred and brought up by the Jedi code/Dogma. Overall, there's no right or wrong way to feel about it, and, again, this is a testament to the writing. We're now seeing debates about the characterization of Sol - was he a good or bad guy? Are the Jedi good or bad as an organization? Lazy writing is spelling g out the answer for you. Mature writing is letting the truth lie in areas of gray, of nuance, which reflects actual reality.

I'm still not entirely convinced by this figure... The body choice is weird, although it's not as if I'm going to sit there staring up his robe! Just a little perturbing... it's like one of those things you see, then can't unsee. I'm not absolutely thrilled with the plastic hood either, leading to soft goods. I feel like they neither shit, nor had the decency to get off the pot! It's neither my ass, nor my elbow! I'd have much preferred soft, soft, or hard and hard. However, I'm a BS figure shill so I will duly aquire it as quickly as I can.

I'm with you, I hate the sequel trilogy but honestly really like the Acolyte. I don't get why it gets so much hate in comparison to other Disney Star wars, it's one of their best shows so far.

The Sol killing Aniseya situation was kinda like this for me: a cop responds to a call and the person at the call ,after it gets heated a little, proceeds to quickly pull something out of there pocket. The cop can’t risk that person pulling a gun out and risking lives. They have to take action. I could be wrong on that tho. The 180 mil to 190 mil to dune 2 is crazy

As a certified The Acolyte Hater™️ I’ll be the first to admit that Lee Jung-jae and Manny Jacinto absolutely 100% KILLED IT in their respective roles. I just personally wish that they’d been in a better show or movie, but that’s just my opinion. Edit: The figure looks dope. Definitely gonna pick one up if I find him in stores.

I’m enjoying the show now. Wasn’t too impressed with episodes 1-3 but I watched episodes 4 & 5 back to back and they were great. I think the biggest issue I have with this show is that it should have been like 4 episodes instead of 8. Feels like they are stretching out the narrative needlessly. They should have combined episodes 1-3 into one episode that was a little over an hour long. Episode 4 & 5 should have for sure been combined. I really like Sol and liked Jecki, she was the goat. Qimir is also a great villain.
