My dad went to the Babes funeral at Yankee stadium. He was in the coast guard stationed at Ellis Island hospital. He remembered that day and told me about the experience 60 years later.
The Stadium renovation was two seasons 74-75
You got some dates wrong. Jackie Robinson retired after the 1956 season instead of being traded to the Giants. And the Giants and Dodgers went to California after the 1957 season.
East Rutherford is only 11 miles away from Manhattan. The 49ers, Cowboys, Dolphins, Commanders, Rams/Chargers are all further away from their respective cities than the Meadowlands is to NYC.
Pete, dont comment. You gambled on your team.
Barry Bonds is the GOAT. Countless players have taken steroids but there’s still only one Barry Bonds. Big biceps also don’t give you elite of the elite plate discipline.

Where’s a-rod?
It's amazing to still remember all those names and not be able to name 1 player on current A's roster
Did he play the piano?
Why the Dodgers moved- thank Robert Moses! All Moses had to do was give the land in Brooklyn to build the park, & the Dodgers would still be in Brooklyn, but, he did nothing- & we lost TWO teams, but, we got the Mets 5 years later 😂😂😅. Watch " The Goasts of Flatbush, amazing documentary that explains the entire sad story
Thank you sir angus p chubb
I personally love the clean shave rule. I liked how Georgia was. I’m here to win, forget anything else. We are going to be professional and classy while we do it, too.
I still call the Dodgers the Brooklyn Dodgers. When they play the Yankees Same goes for the Giants. The New York baseball Giants
He did not Witness his father's death. But his life was truly filled with tragedy
Like... the red bulls ny....
“Refs don’t make that much money” Me: $200,000 fuggin dollars ain’t chump change.
Umm, can you say possibly that the olderst son was probably the one who scheme this all together so he'd be the last one.
Bro was death magnet
Hey Pete, you know you are not a good person. You know that right. Also, stay away from young ones if you know what i mean.
Pete Rose play gambling games get STUPUD PRIZES !
Arod was better than jeter, defense and offense. And it gets overlooked.
It's a matter of foreign money...OHTANI is a cash cow.
Pete Rose was actually an all around a garbage human being.
There is a wise caveat for all: never trust any one . We give them our money and love and they lie to us.. cheating and lying is part of corrupt individuals.
They were the baseball equivalent to the Philadelphia Flyers " broad street bullies" of the same years/era.
Very interesting video. I believe Koufax was an eratic rookie pitcher in 1957 when they still played in Brooklyn.
This is why I don't agree with sports writers being the ones voting players into the Hall of Fame. A lot of them have bias against the players. Some are loyal to the teams they cover, and they don't care if the player had great numbers. They will vote for someone who was a media datling with no questions asked.
Baseball was a pure game? Never cheated eated? Did anybody ever hear of the 1919 World Series? AKA The Blacksox Scandal.
Rollie Fingers didn't get traded to the Brewers, did you forget the four years in San Diego ?
Cool vid! It would be cool if you did more dynasty vids like that of the Bulls or Patriots
Only if you have been in the deepest valley, can you ever know how magnificent it is to be on the highest mountain. Richard M. Nixon.
Armando Galarraga threw a 28 out no-hitter!
I will die on the hill that Steroids saved baseball. After the 94-95 strike, baseball was at its worst state. Id argue this was the point where Baseball stopped being "America's game."
White lives matter
Nah bro you suck . MetLife is the best
The sports radio shows of today especially in nyc would never of let the Dodgers and Giants leave . The radio stations would fire all fans up to kick in the doors of city hall in outrage !
Gehrig was born with the name Heinrich Ludwig Gehrig. His parents changed it to Henry Louis Gehrig during WWI.
I mean..some of your arguments are simply not true.
I hate how all the pre and post game shows are so focused on betting. It makes them unwatchable.
Bonds is the poster boy for the steroid era because he was the best player that we know took steroids. It’s pretty simple.
I see no evidence that steroids help you throw the ball harder. Perhaps the fastest pitcher ever was Steve Dalkowski. He was 5-11 170 lbs.
Actually Cal's streak ended when I went on strike...
The MLB loved the steroid era when it came to their pocketbook
"Oh I'm sorry, I thought this was America." This was the best time for baseball lol
Virtually every Hall of Famer was hopped up on amphetamines. They dispensed "Greenies" in the clubhouse. If they'd had steroids back then, the players would have taken them. HYPOCRISY ON PARADE
