What a dang adventure getting good audio and video on and under the helmet!! I've gone through several iterations already and FINALLY found a reliable setup that works GREAT!! There's a bit of buzzing that I didn't really hear in the audio when I was editing the video. 100% sure that's from the noise reduction filter effect that I used in Premier. Been doing a lot of riding in my quiet neighborhood...was time to take the action out to the real streets. Did a 30 mile drive through the Leander, TX hill country...some quiet but nice curvy roads...45-55mph speed limit...was super fun until I got stuck behind a complete moron driving 15mph with their blinkers on. Hey Folks! My first video with my new to me (2020) Honda Shadow 750 Aero. Put a Memphis Shade 13" screen on but caused a lot of buffeting (I'm 6' tall with stock seat on the bike). It's been a hot minute since I've done a video - the Mooney's been in the shop from then end of last July until March doing a wet wing reseal and an annual...then we had it back a month or so and the left main tank leaks...so this is the trip taking it back to the shop. I had always wanted to meet Vince because I just thought he seemed like such an approachable guy. So a few months ago I was in Nashville at a guitar show talking to a dude at his booth and somebody bumps into me. I'm really short and I turn around to say sorry to whoever it was and it was VINCE! I said "HOLY CRAP!" and he laughed and goes "yep. holy crap". LOL! I took a pic with him and talked shop for about 10 minutes and he tried to talk me into buying a $21,000 59 Strat and I told him I'd be divorced if I did that and he laughed and said "you gotta learn not to tell your wife everything"! He's SUCH a genuinely nice dude. Then literally about 30 minutes later I bump into Guthrie and talk to him for a little bit. He ALSO is a super nice guy. Pretty good day for me. LOL!
