My docs are more than 20 years old they were my fathers docs and they are doing great with a little bit of drag new docs melt and get holes in 1 to 2 years

Even some people still wear them even the leather are damaged. On that way, it can show the jounrneys of their classic DMs. I'll do the same thing. Or maybe, I will express my artistic side by painting it using shoe paints for leather.

The older ones just need a good cleaning, rub down with neatsfoot oil, some Black Kiwi shoe polish. They'll be better than new!

You don’t quit on your Docs, cleaned them and give them a quick polish once per month. Those boots have plenty of life left and will never go out of fashion like the last pair you flashed at the end of your clip. 🤦‍♂️

No way retirement for those DM's ... I have 2 pairs of boots of different heights and a pair of shoes all from the 80's (most expensive shoes/boots I ever bought to this day), and I wear them all the time. They still have tons of life in them. Too much nostalgia, besides who has 40+ year old boots!
