Just so you know, the distributor messed up Drunk Enough. Muri decided to take the song down and wait to rerelease it with the upcoming album along with changing it slightly. However, somebody uploaded Drunk Enough on CZcams and Johnny commented on it and seems like he approves of the rando upload. It will prolly be different than the final album release but it’s there to listen to.

I do hope this is the sound of their new album, but it's ultimately up to them. I think the issue with Architects isn't just that they left the heaviness, but they lost their progressive musicality as well. Everything was just much simpler, very radio rock, and from a band that basically made its name of progressive metalcore, I can see why the hardcore fans weren't happy. Have you heard BABYMETAL? if i like musicians i don't care if they do the same good stuff or try out new things. usually it's all at least good enough to repeatedly listen to it. i trust them to do things that make them 'happy' and that they do the best they can/want. and if it sucks because i don't like the style (or whatever): there are more musicians to discover :)

This record hit me hard this year, I’m super inspired by it to the point of wanting to write a story (possibly a short novel) inspired by the entirety of the record. I cannot wait to see how this band blossoms moving forward
