I get sleep paralysis every once every few months (eyes closed, i never had sleep paralysis with my eyes open). First time it happened to me I was scared shitless lol, you know you are awake but can't move an inch of your muscle. But I eventually got used to it and whenever it happens, I just try to wiggle my toes then move my way up my body. (interesting to note, i don't think i have experienced any sort of visual or auditory hallucinations when sp triggers)

It's bliss to say you have experienced sleep paralysis just once in your entire life. I used to have episodes about 3-4 nights a week, and on one occasion, it felt like I was being strangled but not too hard (almost like I could breath but not freely)! Once you master sleep paralysis its lucid dreaming from there. Mind awake body asleep. it is scary, but you just have to control your breathing.

Those this include as Sleep Paralysis? It was already morning im still sleeping though it was after an bus accident during our travel back to home (I have explanation about the bus accident at my channel RhenielAviation &HistoryEdits) (not this one)while i rest in the next evening at the morning I was dreaming or nightmare i guess? that looks like Minecraft Neither but I was running Straight and then I saw clowns I fall down and the clown watched at me falling down and then suddenly It went black I tried opening my eyes but it was all black for 5-9 seconds I was awake I dont know about this but that was the scariest I witnessed it. Edit// I found it damn the answer was scarier It means I Died for 9 seconds it might be the bus accident or it could include my sins😢.

I remember my fist sleep paralysis. was in my bedroom, I seen two dark shadowy figures come towards me probably about 6ft8, while this was happening I was screaming as loud as I could but obviously words didn't come out. one of them pinned me down while the other knelt beside me and started whispering in my ear. "not a clue what they said, it was all gobbildy goop" then I felt my self leave the room, and I could hear wind, as if i was outside. I could see nothing at this point. it then went all quiet, then I felt tugging in my stomach area, I could hear the wind again and then woke from my paralysis. As soon as I woke i hid under my blanket for a good hour. before pulling the duvet covers back off me and looking around and seeing no one was around I then ran up stairs to my mum (I was 14) in a panic thinking I had just been attacked. I felt violated as crazy as that sounds.

I didn't get..... But wanted to know, what would happen if some external (parents, siblings) just shuts your way to breathe means nose and mouth for waking purposes????

Sleep paralysis is no joke. Hope you can fight against it...

What causes sleep paralysis? I sometimes get this but im unable to make any sounds signalling for help, my body just stays COMPLETELY frozen

If this happens to you and you want to wake up, just hyperventilate and you'll wake up almost immediately. I try to induce lucid dreams and often end up with sleep paralysis, always works like a charm.

i had a frequent sleep paralysis several months ago. its different to this one, where i could get out on my own. problem is, i felt like i couldnt breathe, and a ringing noise was always on my ears. One thing is God helped me deal with sleep paralysis. I see how he helped me deal with it, because when i have my sleep paralysis i can wake myself up and I thank my Lord and Saviour for that.

One thing guys sleep paralysis is caused by so much stress.

The first time I experienced sleep paralysis it was horrible but then i kinda started enjoying it when i knew i was ultimately in charge of what’s happening.. kinda like a lucid dream jn extreme circumstances

I had sleep paralysis only ever once, then I just didnt open my eyes and went back to sleep, later i had a nightmare of a very overwhelming ghost but somehow thru some miracle i slapped the shit out of ghost. Yes i know its bizzare but its true and i never had paralysis or any nightmares since that night 8 years ago.

Ok so let me tell you how i cope with this, this might be weird but trust me. I have had sleep paralysis for a multiple time started from when i was a kid until im an adult now, but over time it feels not scary as it was, idk if it just me but i can even control how the demon looks like now i just had to close my eyes and then think of something funny. It feels weird everytime if i want to wake up from that i usually cant move my head or arms but instead i lift up my leg and for some reason it woke me up, yeah i had to do that everytime.

When i get into sleep paralysis my parents scold me that iam sleeping very late they don't understand that iam having a sleep paralysis and iam suffering😢

Bro, ihad it for the first time. Along time ago i thoight the world was just gaslightiing me, and i thoight it was fake. Until i had mine for the first time. I couldnr move at all, i tried my best to forcefully stand from my sleeping position. No luck. It felt as if i was being forced to stay like that, i tried to shout or scream. I couldnt open mh mouth or shout. Mynvision was blurry. So i gave up and tried to go back to sleep, then my btother woke me up since i was still in bed. Till today i dont wanna experience that ever again💀

Is this sleep paralysis really?? When I got it I was awake my eyes were open couldn't move a single muscle in my body and there was a shadowy figure over me and couldn't even scream

Had it for years. The only thing that works is making sure you have a steady and stric sleep schedule. Also cut back on coffee and alcohol.

its way more scary when there is a demon in your room while sleep paralysis.

I suffer from this as well since childhood. I wiggle my toes but it sometimes doesn’t work so I end up trying to move my neck and it cracks so painfully when it snaps me out of it. It got so bad I wouldn’t sleep in fear

This is the worst feeling man. When you try to reach out to someone but you can't. You try to screem but you can't You open your mouth and screem but it would just never work. It's the worst but thankfully for me, it hasn't happened in last 4 months.
