My second video on the removal and installation of a MK 2 ford focus radio. Original here: czcams.com/video/gN15v6_zGvs/video.html The first video got a bit of criticism, as it was all still pictures. I was going to sell the car, so took the aftermarket radio out and put the Ford unit back in, but changed my mind and decided to keep the car another year or so, so I put the aftermarket radio bac...

I was stuck in France today when the ciggy fuse went meaning at 34 degrees the coolbox was in trouble. Despite having the haynes manual and the factory manual ...they both gave incorrect locations , Coming across this video saved the day so thank you so much for making the effort to help others ..it is truly appreciated . Why on earth the numbering is pretty much invisible and there is no layout diagram seems ..well just ridiculous . Thanks again . All the best , Bill from the UK ( in france !)
@@bill7853 Thanks Bill. It's nice to hear stories like this, and I'm glad it helped you. That video is around 10 yrs old now, glad it's still helping folks. Had all the same problems as you when my cigarette lighter fuse blew. Ford should be ashamed of themselves.
Thanks for the video
Thanks - glad it helped you.
Your video served me well as prep. to install reflectors on a friends bicycle
well explained clearly...thanks for the video.
Can you comeback for new videos please~
Do I need to fill upp the reservoir on the left side or so? Thanks for the video, the milk bottle was a genious move.

Many thanks Indeed. I couldn't figure it out without your video. Thanks again
Thanks. Glad it helped you.
Yes, but you need to put two on each wheel and it has to be evenly balanced, otherwise the wheel will "bump" as it rides.
Cheers mate, you are a godsend.
Are these mini or standard size fuses? My reverse lights are not working (both) and I need to replace the fuse. Not sure which size to buy.
GR8 M8! 😊 Bought a Getz yesterday = no aerial. .... You are a star 🥂 tooSavvy

No worries - good luck with the repair.
That was very helpful. Thanks for posting.
Thanks John - glad you found it helpful. Been using this method for over 25 years (where access permits). Never failed me yet.

Yeah - the neighbor has fixed it up now - this video was filmed about 8 years ago.
Nice. Thank you for sharing this coz I think I installed mine incorrectly 😊😊

How often do you need to change coolant
Read the info on the coolant. Some are only 2 years Some are over 5 years.. Have a look at all the different brands before you buy.
@@DjClarky78 oh nice thanks, even 2 years is a good amount I was worried it would be a lot more often aha
Man, I thought your antenna was messed up! Somebody moved your steering wheel too. lol.😂
Thanks for this video. You've given me the confidence to tackle it. I didn't think I would be able to
That's great - glad it helped you. Did you get it fixed, or are you about to attempt?
After seeing your video I'm going to attempt it. It's on a 2010 Hyundai i10 but the ariel looks the same. I've yet to get the ariel but I've now had a look at the lining and I can see that it comes away just like in your video so now I know I can attempt it. Thanks again.

I'm in the process of assembling a new BMX bike for my Grandson's Christmas. The bike came with no instructions other than to take it to a bike shop for professional assembly.....like that's going to happen! Only took me about twenty minutes to assemble the whole bike....with the exception of the reflectors. Those were a whole nuther ball of wax! After 45 minutes of fiddling....I search and found your video! You Sir, saved the day. Thank you!
Thanks - glad it helped you.
Thx! I wasn't sure how to make them non flappy. You rest them against adjacent spokes.
Thanks. Glad you got it sorted.
It is on the right side in LHD models otherwise exactly the same, thanks for the video now on to see if I only need a new fuse or a new windshield wiper motor😅
Interesting to hear. Good luck, hope you get it fixed.
Nice bike!!!!!
Where can I buy a fuse box for Ford f ocus hatchback

Thank you so much! I'm having exactly this problem with my 2004 Getz
Thanks. Hopefully you get it fixed.
@@DjClarky78 I did! Thanks to your video, my old clapped out Getz now has a brand spanking new antenna. And some Hammerite brushed on, where rust was forming under the old base.
@@Deckzwabber Well done! Glad you got it sorted.
Huge help today - installing these on the wrong spoke seems straight up dangerous on my rim since my reflector could have rotated and caught on the frame. Saved my bacon, thanks.
Thanks - Glad it helped you!
I have a 2006 Getz guessing it would be the same.? But couldn’t see were the part number was.? Cheers Ron 👍
Hi Ron - not sure if it's the same I'm afraid. The part number is in the description below the video - it is 96220-1C010 Hope you are able to fix it.
@@DjClarky78 cheers mate. Thanks for the feedback 👍
@@ronabdilla5306 No worries Ron - let me know how you get on.
At 3.27 roughly you mention the metal bit hits the roof and the nut goes to the left side. Would be the same on a Nissan Juke 2017 as I can loosen the nut what hits the roof which leaves the antenna base loose but can’t get it to come out off the roof. Any ideas much appreciated
Whats the number fuse for the cigarette lighter ?
Thank you for the information.👍👍
Thanks - glad it helped.
Thank you that was extremely helpful.
Thanks. Glad it helped you
thanks now I might be able to fix my moms car there's a huge rust spot all around that antenna base and she can't really afford to pay dealership prices
Thanks - glad it helped you. Have a look for a chemical rust converter/remover in the hardware store. I'm guessing you're in the US? I had a look on the Lowes website, and Loctite do a Rust Neutraliser and a rust dissolver for under $10
@@DjClarky78 I'm not in the us no I already bought all the things i need from biltema (norwegian hardware store) I'm probably just gonna end up reloving the antenna as the radio has never had reception around here and it's never really being used
@@hddbc5787 Fair enough (I saw you wrote "Mom", and just assumed you were in the US - my bad) Let me know how you get on. What are you going to blank the hole with?
@@DjClarky78 I'm going to have to weld in a new piece of metal since it was completely rusted through going to the scrapyard tomorrow and then I'm going to try to make it look at least decent with body filler afterwards
