Bojangles here, and today, we're going to take a look at one of the darkest pieces of lore in the Friday the 13th franchise: the shocking childhood of Jason Voorhees. We'll be taking a look at the man who he called father: Elias Voorhees. We'll also be talking about how Jason's mother, Pamela Voorhees, met Elias, and how Jason came to be.
We'll also discuss the unused storyboards for Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI, and how Director Tom McLoughlin would have changed the backstory of one of horror's greatest slashers, if only he'd gotten his way.
The Friday the 13th Game also offers up a backstory on Jason, providing their own lore, and childhood of the man behind the mask. Let me just tell you, that one gets pretty dark, but...
Nothing is as dark as the two comic books we're going to discuss: Jason VS Leatherface & Pamela's Tale.
These things take the lore, the story, and the twisted childhood of Jason even further.

Twilight zone was my favorite show up to this day I always look at that show
It's an absolutely amazing show. One of my favorites, too.
There is no hockey mask killer Jason Voorhees he's dead. Anybody who wanted to get away with murder dressed up as him killed to get away with it. That boy that drowned 1957 read on the newspaper & then few others were killed that next year. Jason Voorhees has been dead for 70 years let's move past this hockey mask killer thing.
I was a young boy who waited anxiously to see what the new episode would be.

It’s hard to believe That Jason’s first ever victim was Alice Hardy from Friday the 13th part 1.
He came back for her. He wasn't about to let her get one up on his mommy.
Having managed to get ahold of the Novel of Pt 6 and it does add a bit of fun backstory info, some fun lore, but I dunno. Elias is a neat concepts but I think I prefer to have all the Evil be in Jason and The lake! Because Crystal Lake is a Evil Place. It does have a Death Curse on it after all. I'd go almost the opposite route. Make Elias a bit of a timid man, who was intimidated by Evil Little Jason and how Jason had Pamela wrapped around his deformed finger. Probably a Bojangles Moment of "Just me?"

I just wanna see Kane Hodders Jason come back 40 years after part 4. Ch ch ch ha ha ha but known as ki ki ki (for) ma ma ma. The place reopens back up to the public you already know what's about to unfold. Some parents go come on kid's we're not staying here, some families leave before the sun goes down. The ones that stay history will repeat itself. I'd say as buisness perspective you can't stuff a bunch of returning actors, this is 2024-2025 so these people just think Jason is some myth. What bugs me the most is part 4 Jason killing those nurses when simply could've had him disappear at the end of part 3 who cares if copied H78 it would've worked out better because the officials know Jason Voorhees just you seem crazy thinking he's real. You can't even say the name Jason Voorhees.
I know I am in the minority, but Hodder is one of the worst in the series, only Kirzinger was worse.
