Safari Vehicle for professional photographers (Feb 2022)
zhlédnutí 272Před 2 lety
It is possible to remove one seat from the safari vehicle in India in some of the national parks. I have tried to show how it looks in this video. This is best done for professional photographers who carry lot of equipment like couple of camera bodies with lenses, beanbags, etc.

Hi guys, It's been a while since we had a little chat. I know times are tough at present, but, it is imperative we make the most out of it. With limited resources and plenty time, it is important we observe nature and what all it has to offer. So get your binoculars out, get a bird book and start birding. Witness the beauty nature has to offer, they are flying around everywhere. You just need t...
Tigress (MV3) With Cute Cubs during safari in Kanha National Park (Tiger Safari India, Nov 2019)
zhlédnutí 7KPřed 4 lety
Sighting the MV3 Tigress with her cubs, during a safari at Kanha National Park. MV3 is the daughter of the famous Mahaveer Tigress of Kanha. She was one of the four in the litter that was born in 2016. Her two male siblings, namely, MV1, and MV 2 were very bold Tigers. They showed their colours when they were just about 2 years old. MV2 was the more daring one, he also challenged the dominating...
Tiger sightings in Bandhavgarh of two sub-adult male cubs (October 2019)
zhlédnutí 1,7KPřed 4 lety
Post monsoon is one of the best times to sight Tigers' in complete action. Though the frequency of the Tiger sightings is less the habitat is amazingly beautiful. Seeing yellow and black stripes, faintly move behind the lush green of the jungle, is a sight to behold. Out of the 4 safaris we did in October 2019, we saw Tigers on two safaris. In fact, we were very close to seeing Tigers in the ot...

zhlédnutí 3,7KPřed 5 lety
Tiger sighting in Kanha. Both seem to be smelling and searching for someone. Smell is the only weak sense of a Tiger, while hearing and sight are the strongest. But smell is not so weak as not to recognize a stranger in it's territory. Tigers regularly patrols the area by leaving his smell and markings on the trees.
A Tiger roaring in Corbett. (January 2018)
zhlédnutí 25KPřed 6 lety
Listen to this with headphones or speakers. A Tiger roar is heard upto 3 - 4kms. He / she generally roars when in search of a mate, or has smelled another Tiger in the area and wants to know who is it? It is also noticed that a Tiger roars more in Sal forests than open or mixed forests.
Umarpani fights MV 2, Kanha National park
zhlédnutí 12KPřed 6 lety
Umarpani male dominates MV 2 in this fight. If this be the trailer of what is in store then days ahead can see a deadly duel. What is interesting is that Umarpani male (who approaches from right) is not going full out, he is only trying to scare him a bit. Had he been keen on a full on fight, this could have been the last day of MV 2. Umarpani is still giving him chances not to come in his way....

Jim Corbett National Park (June 2018)

Just some random sounds, sights, and scenes from Corbett National Park. Every park has it's own beauty, and everyone has their personal favorite park. It is always tough to pick your most favored park. For me Corbett is amongst the top three always. The diversity of flora and fauna here, the terrain, the peace, something complete about this park which is amiss in some places. Of course what add...
Chota Munna, Kanha National Park (June 2018)
zhlédnutí 626Před 6 lety
Chota Munna, aka Link 7, is son of Munna and his territory is mostly Mukki zone in Kanha National Park. Quite like his father when it comes to attitude, he is not shy at all, and usually pleases the tourists no end with his presence. His size is also huge and is surely amongst the top 3 Tigers in the area. A massive face, big shoulders, long chiseled muscular body. He is a delight to the eyes o...
Umarpani male dominates MV 2, Kanha National Park (May 2018)
zhlédnutí 3KPřed 6 lety
A territorial fight was averted when MV 2, surrendered to the almighty Umarpani male today morning in Kanha. MV 2 a sub-adult, and no match for Umarpani was intelligent to give in and sit when Umarpani approached. There are some signs that Tigers show when they submit and this was one. At times they also lie down on their back to save themselves. It is a sign of surrender and self security as w...

There are thousands of tiger pictures in google. No need for people to take numerous pictures. It’s foolish.

could it be possible that sometimes a langur's call might end up being a false positive. (oh never mind you mentioned that in this case, the call is short pitched with high intensity)

What keeps the animals out of the car?
It's tiger call...not roar
