It would be cool if you guys could make your own idea of the visuals that should go with The Harvester. I’ve imagined the way I would do it but don’t know if I’ll ever do anything about it. I had imagined the title implied something like the instruments operating on a big Guitar Hero type thing on the ground with the instruments “harvesting” the notes. In a way kinda like the way the instruments roll down the road in Pogo Sticks, but maybe the instruments being “played” by glowing lights or some other mechanism on the paths in the floor. Animated versions of the other un-animated pieces from the CD would be cool too like A Slight Delay and Seventy Allow. The Harvester is just my personal favorite of those.
Interesting idea for The Harvester. I have also come up with some different (And rough.) ideas for those 3 songs as well. Like for "Seventh Alloy," I was thinking it would be like a mining factory with like the guitar and laser being ore smelting tools; "A Slight Delay" being near a weird time portal that you know, causes the delays; and "The Harvester" being either a UFO zapping a field to make sounds or a Solar Farm powering up those instruments. I know, very vague, but that is because I have not really expanded on it :P
@@Spiked_Energy_19 Oooooh very cool ideas! I haven’t really thought about the other two until a few days ago and I also imagined Seventh Alloy should be a mining facility too! I didn’t imagine any details tho, so your ideas for those instruments is perfect. For A Slight Delay the best I could imagine before was just some of the instruments might be like the string things that start off Pipe Dream, and the sparkly white lights in the back wall of Fiber Bundles, but without listening better to the song I don’t know exactly how or what instruments, but I guess it’s all of them, so in that case, being near a time portly thing might make more sense, maybe that’s why they never animated it, it was too complex for the day. I might also imagine it’s a chamber where that room repeats like an infinity mirror, basically same as the time portly idea depending on how you think of visualizing it. And having a UFO for the harvester seems so perfect in association with fields!😁 Alternately having solar panels powering whatever instrument if they are on the ground would be cool too! Maybe both! Maybe it’s a harvester rolling along powered by the sun and a saucer shows up as one of the instruments!😆
@@nrdkraft Very interesting that you thought that "Seventh Alloy" should also be set in a mining facility. And even though your ideas for the other 2 songs are fairly new, they still sound like pretty solid ideas :) I really like the infinity mirror tactic suggestion for "A Slight Delay." Also, combining the solar panels and UFO would definitely work well :)

this is extremely detailed! how long did it take?
How long did what take? I'm guessing you mean how long it took to render Ambient Glow (the final, full animation); which is about 1 month, with four computers rendering 24/7. The scene was poorly optimized; we prioritize low render-times a lot more now (Full Circle, in comparison, took a week on one-two computers). If you mean modelling wise, how it usually has ended up going for us is that we create the models rather quickly; at least in comparison to the animation stage which takes up the bulk of the time. AG was pretty much done by ~mid-2021; it just took a while to really finish the animations.
@@LasersLightsandMusic Hey LLM, I know this suggestion could a little controversial but have you guys ever considered making an fan-made Animusic animation using the Cel-Shading technique? (But personally though, I would not be a fan of you guys making every single future fan-made Animusic video using this technique. I honestly really hope that you guys will sometime make another fan-made Animusic video with the same render quality as "Ambient Glow" though.)

Also, I noticed the lighting is different on this video compared to the actual animation. Finally, was the song that played during the video an earlier version of "Ambient Glow" or is it an entirely different track?

I love the small details like how far the drum sticks swing back according to note velocity, when the dual-hi-hat swings around its drumstick gives it a little space to do so, and of course the idle drumstick animations on the three cymbals.
