Imagine feeling that every time someone snapped a pen, smacked their gum, chewed anything with their mouth open (especially ice), whistle through their nose when breathing, snore, etc. Now imagine feeling all of that and being called an asshole for asking somebody that you don't know to please, please, chew with their mouth shut in a classroom where you're not supposed to have gum. Or any other scenario at all, because the point is, you're just looking out for yourself and not trying to hurt anybody else, but you're immediately demonized as a narcissist because "you think you can tell other people what to do." The world needs much more understanding and far less assumptuous, judgmental labeling.

One thing that may be worth looking into is visual motion amplification with a camera. It's used in industrial and civil engineering to look for resonant frequencies that may cause damage to buildings or machines. It might be something that could be used to see if buildings are resonating at a frequency indicative of what people are hearing, I'd love to see if that could help get some answers or at least point you in another direction.

I agree there are many issues with self-driving, both technical and legal. So I tried the ATMOS sub for free on the Xbox headphones. Fun fact, my five years old, Logitech 5.1 system produced far better sound to the headphones than Dolby Atnos could even come close to. I’m no audiophile, though I do consider sound vital to my content consumption but for all intents and purposes, in my limited experience as a poor person, the sound quality and spatial effects I get from my shitty little Logitech system is great, AND I’ve even been asked by some of younger neighbours what sound system I am running to play my games and music on when I don’t use headphones to play either!!! Much ado about nothing for all but the most discerning of ‘listeners’, to cut a long story short.

I am from South Africa, my family has a family farm, not much on it but i think many years ago it was more used by my family. I have been a Behringer fan for many years. Those who could not afford Mackie gear in the old days could buy gear not at the same level as Mackie but their stuff was useable gear. Once Behringer spent millions of dollars on their own campus in China, quality control went up. When Midas and Behringer got together, their digital mixers caught the audio world by storm. They updated a lot of their mixers and headphone amps and improved the quality of their gear. They never claimed their gear was the same as the gear they copied but as a less expensive options for those who could not afford the higher end gear. Helping kids is a admiral thing with music and I wish them all the best. There is a toxic environment out there as showing others respect, providing your opinion without attacking others is not too popular. Kids are not being taught to respect others, and with the internet, they are bullies who would never talk that way to someone in front of them. Hopefully, those who have more class will be a better influence to people

Alright I got a story. These fucking bugs man. I was trying to mow my grass, walking around the yard with my weed trimmer. I notice one flying near me and won't fuck off. He just keeps circling me. Well he finally B-lines it right to me. So I chop him up with the trimmer as it's spinning at a couple thousand rpm. The flood gates opened. Suddenly I see hundreds flying all around me. Then they attacked. I looked like an utter mad man in the yard doing literal battle with these fucking bugs 😂 When it was over I looked down and around at all the bodies laying on the ground. There had to have been a few hundred just laying about. Body parts everywhere. For like 20 minutes all there was in life was me and the bugs. I forgot about the lawn 😂 Fuck these bugs man

Sorry but this is a bit of a shit take. Tesla certainly lied and lie about their capabilities and how far on they are with FSD, but we know that general intelligence is possible. We know it's possible, because it exists in the form of our brains. Therefore we know it's possible to construct an AI which is as intelligent as us and as power efficient as us. Almost certainly moreso on both of those. Anything humans can do, an AI can do it better, we just haven't figured out how to make it yet. It might take years, and it probably won't be Tesla that does it, but AI will drive cars one day, or at least have the capability to do so more safely than humans.

What complete nonsense. "If door-to-door self-driving vehicles ever become safe..." In a VERY short number of years, AI and robots will be better than humans at EVERYTHING. And driving is a small subset of EVERYTHING. We can debate how far off that situation is. 10 years? 20 years? 100 years? Who knows, but it is not an IF, it is a WHEN.
