I Know this videos' a Year old but Be aware ! when rats get older, they will slowly stop wanting to play and begin a more relaxed lifestyle. still get them out, and still love on them, pet them, talk to them etc. as for bedding, I Use soft, eco friendly dust free clump bedding, which is soft and made of cardboard material. it is safe for all pets, biodegradable and edible (if they choose to eat it)

I found scents that rats LOVE is lavender n vanilla. I made my own spray with oils and spray around their cage. Never directly. I also make meditation music and videos and my boys are always vibing while I'm working. They my Zen lil boys <3. I dunno if its related, but my boys dont fight. Not even play fight.

My rats love insects, from roaches to crickets to silkworms. And my female loves peanuts

My rats are dumbo and satin (dumbo is more lf a gene than its own type of rat). I first believed they were doubke rex because of their curly whiskers, but thats a big part of dumbo/satin rats

If a rat is going to have a "bad" dream, it will be because their owner is stressed and having difficulties. Animals all live in the NOW moment! They deal with their pain when it happens! Dreams are for dealing with unresolved issues. I seriously doubt that rats suffer with nightmares! Animals are created to help carry our pain and they even get sick by taking our emotional pain into their bodies. They do not suffer in this. They consider it an honor to always help another.

Thank you for sharing. My boy is 19 months old, and within the last 2 weeks, I noticed him slowing down, being more irritable, not eating a lot, and nipping.. I've had him since he was 7 days old and raised him, so this change has me concerned.

It is so cruel to breed a tail less rat, that's not a breed, it's a crime, they need their tales for balance etc, and all the health defects, if anyone thinks it's OK to bring a being into the world that will be miserable and I'll by default is a horrible person, and so are people who would purchase them...

Fun fact:yes you can have 1 rat for a pet. Before the internet told me otherwise I always had just one rat at a time. I have had 3 female rats that I had in the past with no problems so I don’t know if it’s male rats that have all these issues and problems you mention in the video but yeah 👍 facts are facts and fun!😂😮
