I have a 1200 gsa LC 2016 and I had a problem with the oil pump in addition to damaging the left connecting rod bushings. The biggest problem is that the oil pump works on the engine block itself, which means the pump has scratched the block... these engines should have a filter before the pump to filter possible impurities, as they don't have it everything is fucked up. Apparently it's not possible to rectify the block, so I had to find a second-hand block with less km and transfer everything to this block... what destroyed everything?? was a problem with the fourth gear which really wasn't good and small fragments of the gearbox damaged the oil pump and then the rest came as an addition. (the first generation quikshifter sucks...) The bill is astronomical and I have no other solution 😢 very disappointed with BMW , what a nightmare. Thanks for the video 👍

Crazy because I was born in 78 and remember the old school buggies and balloon tire 3 wheelers. I never got the chance to ride down the old interstate 8 but parts of it are still there and I'm glad I didn't. This was hardcore duning. Now if you have a deep wallet you can go show off.

i had the same leak, tightened the bolt and it stopped leaking. it leaks easily, because I think it is a hydraulic cam chain tensioner and there is pressure behind the gasket straight from oil gallery.

Thanks for posting this. I had a similar leak on my R1200RT (2010)..however the only way I could get a wrench on it was to loosen the three screws that attach the throttle body to the cylinder head and move it up and out of the way. A really tight fit ! Surprized me how loose it was after only 32,000 Km.

Yeah baby, I recognize many of those hills. Oldsmobile hill before it was whooped out. Wow! These folks new how to have a good time. I had some old drag slicks that were grooved but paddle tires really made the difference. Can you say Wheelie good times. LOL Thanks for posting this. Two Thumbs up

I was there....the old Glamis store....hand pump 10 gallons of gas...gravity would do the rest...many very fun weekends when the real Competition Hill existed. At night it was real colorful with the rotating lights on many buggies. Lots of raw horsepower.

Still have my dads corvair fiberglass buggy he built when I was 2. I'm 46 so the legend lives on.

That thing looks quick. My grand kids would love me for that but I would have to get 3 or 4 of them. Thats not going to happen. We can grow old together that way. hehehe
