Making Paper Mario challenge content that you have never seen before. I've played Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door so many times that I've lost count, so I'm like kind of an expert. (please don't test me on that I'm actually sorta stupid)
What if Bonetail was the VERY FIRST Boss in Paper Mario TTYD???
The Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Remake coming out, I wanted to beat the hardest Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Challenge that there is. ONLY 25 PEOPLE HAVE DONE IT!! The Prologue Pit of 100 Trials involves beating the games hardest built in challenge without having completed any of the game… You literally go in before you even fight Blooper, the first actual boss of the game.
also. any footage that looks like Mario isn't dying, it's because I had to do this challenge three times due to losing footage and footage being bad. my first attempt is linked below and it's the full thing. second attempt I did without upgraded goombrlla but then accidentally deleted footage trying to clean my computer. the third attempt is the one you are seeing, but I did not get every type of thing to happen, so I went back using the speedrunners tool to get any footage I missed. So don't think that I faked the challenge. I've done it legit. There's just some ✨CZcams Magic™✨ in this video.

Quick Change is already arguably the best badge when used as intended, and it has this and its sheer convenience on top of that.
The pit 100 trials is hard especially and even in the remake version
Me before watching: probably just clickbait but, slim chance it may not. Me after watching: W H A T
Yeah I love quick change. But my favourite badge is unironically Double Pain because I love making the game harder. All jokes aside, my favourite helpful Badge is Power Bounce because Power Lift is so broken and you get it after Chapter 3.

Before even seeing this video I was upgrading BP so I could use this. It's insanely helpful to be able to freely switch in your partner. I didn't even know buffs held, now it's crazy broken. Time to beat the Pit of 100 Trials with Troggdor the Yoshi endlessly buffed
Can you do this with The Remake?
No
I like my system of leveling up BP the first two times so I can use the Quick Change Badge immediately, followed by a rotation of upgrading FP, BP, HP, BP, and just looping that. I like it, it's always worked well for me. I might be a bit of a stickler who doesn't want to just do the whole Danger Mario build because it's "right." Whatevs. I have fun, though I do agree that primary investment in BP is a great choice.
Glitches are lame. Cheating. Fuck glitches.
i defeated mush in one turn using 15 power rush badges and a jump man badge and a few other attack up badges and he went down so easily…

Can you do this on the TTYD remake?
We have not found a way to get there in the prologue yet sadly. Maybe someday, but the closest thing to this RN is the prehooktail pit, where you basically go do the pit as soon as you get the paper ability
@@AstronOtter oh ok, I might try to help with the remake prologue pit, I’ve found a few glitches accidentally when playing some games
or you can just skip that and stack power rush p and mega rush p on yoshi. all im saying is point swap busted.

hook tail wouldve been an easy fight if he knew how to superguard (or what superguarding is)
I wanted the pink or black yoshi but screwed up somehow and got the red 😂 I think I let the timer reset. However, the red is the nicest due to spawning between 6 and 9 minutes.
I’m horrible at superguarding but I first tried every boss in the game except for shadow queen
Allergy/Space Food also helps because allergy doesn’t allow new buffs/debuffs until it ends

@@auraguard0212 there are badges later in the game that change your color. You get purple by equipping both the green and yellow costumes at the same time

Im killing everything in 1-3 turns no need for quick change. Get+10 extra attack on my first turn with already 8 attack doing 120+ damage on turn 2.
No need to worry about debuffs, just equip Feeling Fine and Feeling Fine P.
