What I UNDERSTOOD from the first 45 seconds of the vid. Which is awesome btw love that music track. But what i understood was that so long as the 40 pin and screen size matches a controller board. You can use just about any controller board........So now another question.......What if i connected a TCON ribbon to a matching pin controller board. Can a TV lcd be converted to a monitor with a control board? Maybe the backlights have to have their own seperate power source.

Just a weird question. Is it ok to replace it with an portable monitor with the same screen size as the laptop? Like I was wondering about it. Buying a replacement screen is more expensive that buying a portable monitor, so that what clicked in my head if that is possible.
