You know, the death hits because it's Wolfwood, but this version is better than the Japanese version, because they changed the writing a little bit, in my opinion. BUT, the Italian version is amazing, because Wolfwood basically ends with, "You probably think I don't deserve forgiveness...but in spite of that I'm bold enough to ask for it...but you're not merciful enough." I know sometimes people get mad that dubs change scripts and don't get direct translations, but sometimes to original material is not as awesome as people think.

Just finished this anime, IT WAS SO GOOD 😔💕

His english Voice over is top, so much trumps any other voice over. That is legit his voice. I still cry about about and the way he went out leaned over on his cross in this sitting position was so badass for some reason and the struggle "I did not want to do die this way!" dude was struggling to stay alive to the end, that's the saddest part., that's what kils me . He didn't want to die/was not ready. You never saw that back then. Him and spike from cowboy bebop are my favorite characters of all time.

This anime was perfection, a true masterpiece.

This scene shows just how powerful the writing of Trigun was. You see Wolfwood finally at peace with himself, finally accepting Vash's way of thinking, reflecting back on his whole life, wanting nothing more than peace and to correct any mistakes he made in the past. It strikes a cord in our hearts because each of us can relate to him in this moment. We all have regrets, we all hurt somebody in the past, with intention or not, we all look for our personal Eden where we can live in peace with the people we love. Wolfwood had finally found the path he always looked for in his life, found people he loved and now his life was over. He didn't want to die because he finally found a reason to be alive.

Wolfwood is the most human character ever. He’s the culmination of its Sarah’s is as ever were to become a cartoon character. He was powerful, lived a convoluted life, embraced the dark to feel important and then gave it an up to do what’s right. HeHe died a humble hero, he lived the way he wants Ava’s that redeemed his soul. Rest in peace!

I cried watching this with my boyfriend...Wolfwood didn't deserve this...he and Milly deserved to be happy together

Paradise and Sin are the greatest episodes in anime history.

This is so far the most affected I've ever been by a character death. I bawled for hours after I saw this episode and I'm weeping now. This is so fucking sad

There are many terrible ways to die. Dying full of regret because you only just found meaning in love may be the worst. Life is short, so let go of your pain. We never know when it's time for our ticket to get punched.

Legato proves Vash's philosophy incorrect and Wolfwood's to be pragmatic. When Legato presents a no win situation to Vash under his philosophy of pacifism he is forced to adopt Wolfwood's philosophy of realism or watch the woman he has secretly come to love and her close friend die together. Wolfwood was always correct in his philosophy. His philosophy of realism is perfectly summed up in one sentence of his dying confession to the Lord "I did what it took to protect the children at any cost.."

The fact that his idea of paradise was to live with his friends and the girl he loved is so moving.

Depressing that he carries a cross and has no faith. Fun character though

Anyone noticed? , the colour scheme similarites between deaths of nicholas and spike spiegel (cowboy bebop)

This one hurt the most. At least with Spike in Bebop- he was perfectly fine with going. It was more like a merciful retirement for a weary old space cowboy. But Wolfwood... This savagely stomped on my pre-teen soul back in the day. F 🙏
