    For the vertically oriented U-joint bolt, the head of the bolt is truncated to 14mm, so you can actually get an open-ended wrench on top of it and zip out the lower nut with an impact or ratchet instead of struggling with vise grips and twisting the linkage

    It aint really the ultimate comparison because some of them are just revs, cars sound different under load, n some have the mic in the wrong spot so u cant tell the actual sound. Still good tho n the best one out there probably.

    Damn, I was quoted $180 for an evap test that doesn't even include the price to maybe patch it if needed. I would love to do it myself but I'm too unfamiliar with engines to trust myself with this.

      😱😱 sometimes you gotta be aggressive at risk of scuffing up your paint. However, because the plastic is so soft, you should be able to buff it out as long as it didnt take paint with it.

      The Miata is a surprisingly robust car! Mine had over 200k miles on it and was still running great and held up to a few track days and even being supercharged!

      I did yes, but I was doing the oil pan among other things at the same time. Although technically I do not think you have to (as in oil will not just start spewing all over the floor), I think it is very good practice to do so.

      the risk of ebay specials for sure lol. If anything they are worth it in the pipes alone. chop off their muffler and slap on a good one and BAM you still got a great deal!

    Next time, try doing it with a foam roller and wetsand in between coats and final cut and buff 😎👍. Boat primer and paint is good too. Very tough and durable and boats are painted using the foam roller method.

      @@HazardGarage Can be done for sure but it's alot of elbow grease wetsanding and buffing. The tradeoff is less masking, overspray mess, and spray equipment especially an expensive compressor. One negative is you are limited to solid colors, no metallics or pearls with the roller method for obvious reasons.

    hey man i just installed this exhaust onto my 92 and man it sounds nice but the drone is a bit overwhelming. i want to keep this exhaust bc im 18 and broke but i did hear of some people welding a vibrant resonator on the manzo mid pipe and they said it helped with the drone and rasp. any thoughts?

      resonators tend to help with drone where as mufflers help with loudness. so in your case welding on a resonators could help with drone.

      Its on the firmer side for sure but it really wasn't too bad. The shocks did well on the street so it was annoying or bouncy. I actually found it surprisingly comfortable and I am not a young buck.

      the sound board default should only have the file place once per "button push". In the product description they should have instructions on the different "play modes"

      I agree it wasn't easy. The hardest part for me was breaking the OEM RTV seal. The special tool I linked definitely helped. As well as removing the headers. Most videos/instructions had difficulty with the bolts in the back but if you just unbolt the 2 engine mounts and lift the engine a bit, access was easy.
