You go Lila ....awesome kick at the end ....had tears in my eyes watching this ....going back quite a few years my fastest mile in HIGH SCHOOL was 5:35 ....all you girls will end up running faster than my old self and it makes me extremely happy to see young girls/ women leaving my old self in the dust 👍✌

Way to go Lila! I'm sure you realize that a lot of these girls had strides twice as long as yours. You'll catch up in size and you have nice turn of foot....and a great final 200. I'm anxious to see you break 5:00 in the next three years and to see you stretch out into cross country. You remind me of my sister....40 years ago. She wasn't quite as good as you, but broke 6:00 in middle school and ran a 5:14 her senior year. Sorry user busted you on your Mom's filming, but she's there supporting you and yelling for you. I thought she did fine. I'm a big fan of distance running at all levels. Looking forward to seeing your career develop. Hope you and your family have a great summer.

Great race! I subscribed after seeing one of your races on CZcams. You have TONS of potential. I remember when my best mile time was 5:35. Only 2 years later I was running 4:32. Will be fun watching your progress!

Good race. So much more in the tank given that sprint finish. She can run in the high 11 minutes already if she paces properly. She has a lot of potential with the right training and mental focus.

When was this I ran in heat 2 and this is not the Championship race unless it was from at least 2 years ago
