Hello, thank you for your video! Since you seem to have quite a lot of practice in modifying tarot cards I would like to ask a question... I am currently looking to cover my tarot cards with laminated paper, since the cards have rounded edges I will have an excess of laminated paper around each corner of the card. What item should I be using to cut the laminated paper in excess and make it follow the rounded shape of the card? Will a normal corner punch get the job done? Thank you for your interesting video!

10:37 I agree… I like having a library AND I also don’t care to pare down my library either. I always find that if a deck doesn’t work and then later it speaks to you or your better able to work with it. If I get a deck I assume it will teach me something but I’m not always ready right then. I LOVE that another tarot tuber said “I don’t think I’ll ever find the need to purge my collection.” So many people on tarot tube talk about this like it’s the only way to think about tarot and like owning less decks is more virtuous.

I’m curious what they look like with just the sides off because I love how they are free from the borders but I would want to keep all the info… I’ll probably never actually trim one I’m just curious what it looks like, lol. I’m almost tempted to make my own pirate Thoth with my own desires mods. 😂😂 Including for example- a border but a totally different one, Keywords on the court cards (like some Thoth based decks have). That’s all a lot of work I’ll probably never do either but it’s a daydream. 😂😂😂

Even though I'm watching this many years later, I truly applaud your emphasis on journaling. I think that is the only way to "own" the cards. I take my cards to a copier, reduce then down about half, and as I draw a card I cut and tape it in my journal.. I use tape so that I can do exactly what you do, flip the card and write on it. Even though I have my card in miniature, I always journal with the actual card held in my hand; it's an energy thing! Blessing to all

Okay so I stumbled onto this video by accident and it is SO HELPFUL. And you have it all! Cute dog, engaging commentary, easy-going attitude, and tips that make so much sense that I never would have thought of on my own (like flipping the cards over after trimming the contact paper to slide along and get that last little bit). Seriously, this video was enjoyable enough I thought to myself “I think this is my favorite how-to video I’ve ever seen.” Truth. (And I was so surprised when you said it was your first one!)
