    Wow this is what school used to be like. Surprisingly I'm not curious at all about how this teacher identifies, their political leanings, kinks, single/married, etc. None of that seemed to matter when they were enthusiastic about teachings something I too was interested in.

    I'm doing this lab tomorrow but probably have only 5 mL of universal indicator, can I use that and just use 0.5 Liters of water and 20 mL of milk of magnesia?

      Yes! It was extremely dangerous. But for most miners this was their only option for light. In fact, some mines in developing countries still use these lamps.

    My grampa used to make them and carry them in his pocket just to give away, mostly as a conversation starter. He would also exclaim "Whoopie" and it would stop and turn the other way, said it was the magic of the whoopie I have a case of them downstairs in storage.

    Just a question; it looks like the upper string is shorter in length than the lower string while you are creating the bubbles yet instructions stated 2 strings/ropes 6 foot each. Is it just an illusion?, angle of the camera?

      The top part of the string in the loop is left shorter so when you open the bubble wand there will be an opening for the bubble to form. Does that help?

    This is all the same thing we have used for hundreds of years. On off. Morse code. Any medium will carry a signal. I am a bit jaded i suppose. Its cool. I agree. Ones and zeros, positives and negatives. Amplitudes and modulations, modulating and amplifying frequencies while shifting the degree of each relative to the other to create more "off on" sequences. The same will be done with light waves. Information and communications mediums like lasers run by quantum computers powered by nuclear systems. All Electromagnetic waves used in varying combinations. We are near the fabric of GOD.

      This jeep was in really bad shape and was about to be crushed as scrap. I suppose someone could have put a lot of time and money into trying to restore it but there are a lot more of these out there in far better shape.

    Great fun! Am I wrong in my assumption that extra distance would also be achieved if the Jeep was anchored firmly therefore not sacrificing the thrust taken to move the vehicle?

    Hate everything about this. What industrial applications does this have? What problems does this solve? You’re just some clown dancing around doing cheap parlor tricks. How about you actually contribute to society? Also what the hell are you teaching the kids? Are they learning calculus? Are they learning how to design a 4 stroke engine? No they’re learning nothing. In the country i come from, all of those kids would be cleaning toilets. They probably can’t even crack the JEE main. Makes me sick.

    The reason for not using wadding was the barrel was just a length of pipe. Would welding 5 ribs of 1/2" strips of steel the length of the barrel stiffen the barrel?

      It does become more fluid as it burns but still stays pretty “gelatin”. As the fuel burns off it becomes even more rigid.

    Can you kindly explain how your laser in powered? I understand you're modulating your laser, but how is it powered, without the paper clip being positioned on the laser clip.

      The power is coming from the battery. The connection to the computer is toggling (and modulating) on and off with the coding of the music track.

If its been powered by the battery, shouldn't you put the paper clip on the laser's clip (which needs pressure) in order to turn ON the laser? I'm very sorry to take your time on this. THANK YOU!

      @@sfardadthis laser turns on when the lapel clip touches the metal tube of the laser (it completes the connection for the battery). So, you can replicate this with a laser diode and a watch battery if you can’t find a laser like this one. Does that help?

    you need wadding, all of the hot gasses are escaping around the bowling ball since it doesn't fit the barrel well.
