I’m not an expert, but I would say you would be pretty close to being in range. I would keep an eye on your tongue weight… Just for estimates, let’s say the three bikes total 1000 lbs, and the trailer is another 1000 lbs, then your tongue weight would likely be over that 200 lb mark. Granted, the dirt bikes probably aren’t quite that heavy, and I don’t know about your trailer, but you see what I’m saying. 😁 Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Honestly, we never really considered making the pad concrete. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 We had to fill 3ft deep (toward the back), and I guess I figured that would settle, then cause a concrete pad to crack. I think the other thing would be drainage. Our driveway slopes downward toward the pad, so I’m not sure how that would affect things. 🤔 Hmmm… like I said, though I can’t recall even considering this before now, so now you’ve got me thinking. 😂 Thanks for watching!

@@Tom-Fisherman Thanks so much, and congrats on purchasing your 32RLS. On the router, you are correct that I went straight down the inside of that wall on the right side of the pantry. From there it was pretty easy to get it over to the fuse box because Alliance installed the swivel dog bowels right there, so I was able to route the wire right behind there. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Also, if you haven’t already found the channel @checkingitoutwithrich5711 , you should. He has quite a few DIY video on his 32RLS.

There are metal brackets included that attach the top and bottom of the fridge to the cabinetry.

No necessarily. The problem that we faced was that we had a large number of trees that we did not want to remove. If we went with an above ground line, we would have had to clear trees a significant distance on each side of that line.

I think dispersed camping is becoming more and more popular, especially as solar, and other off grid electrical systems are becoming more affordable. The problem around Missouri is that the spots are not real well known. Honestly, we still have not dispersed camped in MO (other than backpacking). We went out scouting when we made this video, but never took out our camper at the time to stay in any of the spots. Two rigs later, and we have been boondocking in several other states, but not here in our home state. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@MidwestJourneys Ha, that's funny. I think MO's got a lot to offer as far as camping goes, and the night skies are pretty good, especially around Mark Twain. We're considering Sam A. Baker for this year, but I'll do a bit more research on other sites.

Actually, we sold that trailer about two years ago. 😁 I will say that we enjoyed that system while we had it.

@nate.leal. I would say definitely not $1000. However, I’m wanting to say we paid around $400 for our kit. Still a little pricey, but I think it was worth that. Just a pad to help with condensation will run in the $150 range. I just looked on the Froli site, and the King set is running about $485 now. I’m not sure if the Randi’s Adventures discount still works, but that was in the video description, and was worth 15% off.

@@MidwestJourneys Thank you very much for your input. I see the Froli site is about half the price of Amazon 3rd party seller. $500 is easier to swallow. Gonna have to meditate before pulling the trigger. Sucks not being able to try first.

So, the funny thing is that we actually “installed” a DC-DC charger when we upgraded our electrical system. I just haven’t got around to hooking it up yet. 🤷🏻‍♂️😁

We didn’t camp there, but the campground did look nice. There are some interesting places right across the border in Arkansas as well.

That is the Vail Tunnel on the Rock Island Trail, near Lee’s Summit, MO. We lived adjacent to that trail when we were in Lee’s Summit. 😁

There were 12v wires ran to the old fridge, so we just needed to extend those a little bit. The new fridge also required a separate chassis ground wire, so we did need to run a new wire for that.

Thanks for watching! We live in our RV full time, so our fridge has been used every day since we installed it. I can say that in that time, it has performed great and we have not had a single issue. I know that we have received several comments on this video from people that have had issues with theirs, but that has not been our experience (knock on wood) 😁.

Our teardrop was around 2000 lbs. With that being said, I would think that cargo trailer would work.

I agree. We implemented many of the ideas that you mentioned, and they have worked well. I was about to skirt the entire trailer with foam board, but ended up just using it under the bathroom, where we had issues. We didn’t have any freezing issues this year, but we also figured out that it helps tremendously when you go to Arizona during the coldest part of the winter. 😁 Thanks for the tips, and thanks for watching!
