Of course you skipped many interesting island groups all over the world, but you must be aware of that. Here is a little question for your research. Everyone but everyone on the Internet gets the wrong answer to his question: What is the smallest country in the world? It is NOT Vatican City, nor is it an island. It meets the usual standards for a country, has its borders, its own laws, own taxes, a Papal Nuncio, and is or was (African politics can be somewhat indeterminate) recognized by at least one other country although the UN does not (I seem to recall) recognize it as a country (but who really recognized the UN?)
