Bosch Limited’s Bidadi Plant: A Beacon Of Innovation, Diversity & Adaptation
Established in 1998, the Bidadi Plant in Karnataka, India, is a cornerstone of Bosch India's Power Solutions business. Spanning 98 acres, this plant has undergone a remarkable transformation. From its humble beginnings producing the iconic ‘A-pump,’ a 96-year-old diesel product, the Bidadi plant has evolved to embrace cutting-edge technologies such as Lambda Sensors for two-wheelers.
Today, it boasts a diverse and advanced portfolio, demonstrating its unwavering commitment to adaptation and innovation. This diversity is evident in the wide range of products manufactured at Bidadi. Beyond the "A-pump" and Lambda Sensors, the plant is home to about 2,500 dedicated workers out of a total of 3,500 employees. These employees contribute to the production of various pumps, common rail systems, and recent additions such as FCU, Feed pumps, and CP4iME. This comprehensive product range caters to both traditional and emerging technologies, ensuring that Bidadi plant remains relevant and competitive in an ever-changing market.
Pit Stop In Formula Racing
The relocation process of the CP4iME pump was a testament to exceptional teamwork and expertise. From decommissioning the assembly line at the Jihlava plant in the Czech Republic to swift installation and commissioning in Bidadi facility, the transition was completed within a remarkable 54-day timeframe, akin to a Pit Stop in Formula racing. The challenge was to build the inventory at Jihlava, as the company had only one production line, and then shift the assembly line to the Bidadi plant and commission it. Now, with a production capacity of around 600,000 pieces annually, the Bidadi plant serves major OEMs in the country.

The Jihlava plant was designed for gender-neutral operations, making it a perfect fit for the Bidadi plant, which is operated by both men and women. With its focus on stability and continuous improvement, the Bidadi plant remains dedicated to enhancing productivity through localisation and digitalisation initiatives. My name is Mr Rajesh Singh an NRI holding a UK citizenship who is travelling with his wife Mrs Neeta Singh & 8 year old daughter Ms Rishika Singh had booked tickets with your airlines for 9th April"24 wherein the boarding time was 7:30pm from Mumbai to Bangalore for which I had made all the relevant commute and hotel reservations for 9th April"24 at Bangalore however to my surprise the flight was rescheduled to 12am( which is practically 10thApril ) without any prior information. When I asked my wife to call and cross check she was told due to operational challenges the flight has been cancelled & rescheduled. This has created a lot of inconvenience at our end since the arrival at Bangalore was about 3am on 10th April and considering I am travelling with my kid it was not acceptable at our end. We kept asking for a flight to be accommodate at a more practical time on 9th April itself however we were told that no flights are available and I have to opt for the 3pm flight on 8th April. However to my surprise now when I am checking the schedules online its clearly shows that flight for 3:10pm departure on 9th April from Mumbai to Bangalore is very well available however when I called the customer care number to get ot rescheduled they are stating that I have to pay INR 10050/-which is a complete rip off and unethical since even though the flight was available I was not informed by your customer care representatives. I am travelling to India from UK to complete the last rituals for my father who recently passed away however rather than being able to grieve at peace I am being harrased by you airlines in an attempt to make extra money ignoring my inconvenience and all the cost which I have to incur for hotel booking cancellations etc since you guys do as per your wish and convenience. I will be escalating the issue to all social media platforms to ensure that these fradulent practices of your airlines is highlighted if the reschedule is not being done for 9th April '24 for the 3:10pm depature from Mumbai to Bangalore flight. I have already raised a comnplaint with your customer care vide case no:1051237 however I was just being told I will be getting a call back since the manager refused to come over the call since he feels he is above the customers.
