Fast, smooth, gliding twin keels at Uluwatu. Ash Grunwald, and myself taking turns on the Magic Carpet and MKV twin keel fishes while Harley Banks puts a Sea Dart set up with quads thru its paces. The Sea Dart was built for me, but you can see that the board still surf's nicely despite being way oversized of Harley.

I remember surfing voodoo with him in 85 8/10 foot only the normal crew out blackie Wilson Crammy, & a couple of nulla boys he was the deepest by far getting the heaviest ones also he was always a gentleman letting me & a couple of younger maroubra boys catch our ones & where to sit which really helped when it was that big legend 🏄🏄🏄

He has some great stories about he and his buddies quitting school and hitchhiking to CA. They took jobs at a surfboard factory and learned how to hand shape. His cronies are the Salick brothers, Bob Carson, Dick Catri, Henry Lund etc
Does it work with your wanderer single
Look at that incredible style master. Ide rather see this than alot of these jerky hopping stinky Arial acts. It's just me I QUESS. Style and grace always wins in my book. I just published it .
This guy has his turn timing down to a science. Note the timing and slicing he does. No unnecessary moves with the board or arms. Pure fluid drive and harmony with the wave.

I use to watch you surf massive Lefts in the mid 70,s out at Voodoo, no one out there except yourself. You were shaping at G&S at that time. You shaped my first real board, wish i still had it. The board was stolen from my place at Wanda. I cried, loved that board so much. I was 14yrs old🙏

So underrated!! This thing is a Weapon!!!! I ride mine (7’4) with a slim 7.5” single fin at the back of the box and side bites and it’s awesome, loose, drives through a turn, pumps for speed easy. Handles anything you throw at it. Ultimate midlength travel companion. Best board in my quiver.

Hi Jim, I have been looking at this shape and I weight 103kg and I’m 6’5 could you advice on what length should fit me? I though on a 6’6 with 44 liters?
@@MrCazaolas it depends on what sort of volume you like but you could ride 6'3, 6'4, 6'5 or the 6'6
