    Permanent...pollution. That's, not how pollution works? I mean unless we're gonna get to make fission reactors? In the end, proper stewardship of the planet SHOULD mitigate a growing pollution problem. Permanent pollution strikes me as.. too much stick, not enough carrot. If yall are gonna do that, allow us near-future tech like carbon recapture and sequestration methods and so on.

    I always start my worlds with a 2x inventory multiplier. After every update, my setting disappears and all my hard-earned inventories are gone!!!

      In games like satisfactory, you have the demand of an industry factory requiring a constant feed of resources, eco reaches a point where you just don’t need to grind any more. I suppose there’s merit in transporting heavy things a long way. But id like more industry reasons, some more demand like the endless research techs they talked about.

      @@Eagle6Airsoft slightly disagree. The movement of goods in my last play through was nothing but a hassle. Simple edit to make it a necessity - increase weight of things. Getting from one side of the world to the other could be easier with rail than the huge car bridges we have to build

    I think Eco Marketplace is a good idea, but I doubt you guys will bring in much money from it considering the player base is relatively small. You will also need to have someone working on this full-time so it feels more like an expense. All this development time could go into game features and possibly if the issue is cash flow then do what most other games do - DLCs. Yes, it's annoying for people who already bought the game to buy more stuff in order to fully enjoy the game, but the reality is life is expensive nowadays and almost everything is switching to a subscription type of service. Look at BMW - they got heated seats installed but you gotta pay a subscription fee to enjoy it. I'm not saying it's good, it's just a lesser evil vs you guys running out of cash and slowing down or completely stopping the development of this beautiful game.

    PLEASE on the new craft UI, for each recipe, MAKE IT REMEMBER YOUR LAST VARIANT SELECTION! I -NEVER- want to make hard/softwood stuff. Having to select the generic version of stuff every time is Maddening.

    While I am very excited to continue to support a game I love and have thousands of hours on, buying 10 cosmetics with the current placeholder prices is pretty much the cost of 3 new Eco licences on my region, and about a 10th of the average monthly income of my city. I think that even if they're placeholder prices, it's very important to heavily reduce them.

    I love this game but it's hard to play online without feeling like it's a competition to see who can put the most hours into the game. I dont have time to play a game like it's my job and playing offline just feels like you're missing out on tons of what the game has to offer. It would be cool if they eventually introduced customizable AI characters you can add to your single player games similar to the Sims.

      Have you tried to play on a server that has exhaustion active, e.g. limits playtime?

      @@StrangeLoopGames I have but honestly it's been a year or two. Have there been improvements made to the exhaustion system specifically? If I can remember correctly it was hard back then to find active servers that utilized the feature. Maybe this week I will update the game and hop on and see what's available as far as servers go. After all, it's probably time to take a break from Satisfactory as to not get burnt out of it before 1.0 drops.

    I don't mind the fact that you guys are adding an Eco Marketplace for cosmetics, but frankly, the way it works feels predatory. With the example you showed, I would have to pay 5 dollars to have access to 5 "charges" of a small canoe skin- that's absurd. Even paying 5 dollars to unlock one of the canoe skins permanently is asking a lot- what you're asking for is even worse. What if I'm playing on a public server, which can die any day (as they usually do within a few days if certain milestones aren't reached), or an abusive admin decides to do a ban wave or mess with the progression/my property, or they simply stop paying for their host provider/the world corrupts and then, with that, my investment of real money is lost? This system is absolutely prone to unfair and unnecessary costs on the consumer- it's very backwards and bad! I know that Eco is not the most marketable game ever, but surely you can do better than this, and I hope that will be reflected in the final implementation of this feature.

      Prices shown in the stream are placeholders, the "charges" are per world - not total, you have them available on every world. Please note our streams always show work in progress features, as has been mentioned multiple times in the stream :)

      Actually, that does make a lot of sense with the recommendation of your eyes being positioned with direct line view to a place about 10cm under the top bezel of the monitor for ergonomic comfort - as such positioning the taskbar on top makes it accessible without needing to move eyes or head.

      @@lisekiilstofte5619 Copium. Microtransaction cosmetics are a bust. I would pay for a proper expansion, but this is stupid, no other way to put it. I want cosmetics ingame, but I'm not forking over more cash for a game I already paid for. This AINT it, stop defending this garbage. You're part of the problem and why every game company thinks they can get away with this nonsense.

    All clothes should have stats, so players actually do buy them and wear them. As a tailor I craft so many clothes that nobody but myself will wear.

    This game is so clunky after this update. For some reason the devs thought it was a good idea to add these horribly annoying animations to the items in the hotbar so it takes forever to scroll through it. All the tools look like they are swinging through water too. Horrible update, sticking with update 9.

    i might have missed it, but bumping up the blocks a tier up, what is going to be the impact on the crafting tables? I saw the carpentry still worked in the adobe house. Is that being completely reworked as well?

    New building blocks is nice and all, but as a first time player I found it very annoying to spend a TON of time building something nice and actually big enough only to find out that the building is now utterly useless to me because it's tier 1. It really discouraged me from playing more because I literally just finished the building and now I have to tear it down.

      I totally agree! I always thought there should be a function of the hammer to automatically replace t1 materials with the t2 you are currently holding. Similar to how you can build walls/floors/rows/columns with the newer hammer UI, I imagine you would choose a block type (wall, or window, floor, roof, cube, etc) and then select an area, or row or wall, and then all t1 mats of the selected type would be replaced with the same shape of materials you are holding. This would allow a player say to grab a stack of bricks, choose the wall shape, select a chunk of wall in your mortared stone building and then you end up with a holding stack of mortared stone, with the bricks in the replacing that chunk of wall.

      You generally don't need huge rooms made of t2 or t3 or t4 materials... You would normally make a single room with enough higher tier materials to satisfy the requirements of your specialized work benches. Rebuilding your house entirely with t2 mats is very beneficial to your housing score but also pretty impractical until pretty late in the game because of how much of it you would need and the fact that they're usually costly. So yeah, it's annoying to have to deconstruct, but at the same time the use case where you destroy your entire building and remake it all at once with a higher tier material is... very rare.

    Settlements suck. They need to back to the old land claim way. This new one isn't working, it's buggy and for a friendly server... We don't want to faff with settlements
