This is something rather different than what I used to post. This short animation is my final art project in college where within the span of six weeks we had to create something to expose in our school's exhibit. I challenged myself to write an entire new story and make somewhat of a trailer for it, enjoy!
SYNOPSIS
In a distant future of ours, a group of individuals experimented on humans in hope of creating immortal beings. The experiment failed and they managed to create undying monsters devoid of reason and feeling. Now, they only seek to fill their existence by devouring humans. To get rid of these beasts, they created other behemoths capable of fighting. With a heavy price, these children are capable of manipulating the elements, healing others, reading people's thoughts, and even breathe underwater. Despite their humanly looks, they sometimes relate to those creatures and question their identity. What makes them human? And what makes a monster monstrous?

Hello! Thank you for checking my first animatic out! It took my so many hours but I'm so glad I did it! Enjoy! ~Story~ Long ago, when the deities still walked the land, the Goddess of Knowledge and the God of Love united in a beautiful relationship. Until, one day, the God of Love sacrificed his heart, and with it, its morals. The darkness was slowly taking over him, he filled his lack of love ...
While the art (as basic as it is for the short form) is beautifully done and easily establishes the personality of the characters without making it too detailed the only thing I hate about this was how the song reflected how I've often felt some times. I almost saw myself in the two-horned demon girl as she was going through the sense of being worthless and seeing her crying at the end made me want to sit beside her, let two emotionally vulnerable people feel beter with someone who'd understand the pain. This was beautifully done, sorry if it sounds negative, but the work is exceptional and being able to make someone sympathize one of your characters shows how well-crafted it was to connect with someone seeing it

I’d watch a show about these characters, I’d binge the whole thing in two days and then regret not drawing out my viewing experience for longer, and then proceed to binge the whole thing again

Everyones so cool and amazing but they won't believe it about themself.and when you're feeling low it's hard to give others the reassurance you could with how much you believe in them. that's so neat and everything else too, love the colors n clothing

@@glitchandglitters2765 I mean they don't have to be real people heck I tried an animatic of it as furries and witches and elves kind of challenging but that's also because I can't draw 😅 But I would love to see what you come up with for the characters in terms of your own art style. 😊❤️

At first it was about a "usual break-up" story, but after reading the description this video hit even harder. Also I *love* the fact that you used the different singers to portray each side. Absolutly love it!

Low key it’s so like the chaos god to pick verity. I mean do you think they would miss the chance to cause chaos even with their own champion? Also verity is probably not a pure “shit post” pick. Think about it, who can and usually do cause the most chaos? Popular and influential people do! they at times can make it feel like the world revolves around them.

I’ve always imagined the gods chilling out in a lounge looking at the world and thinking who they would pick. All the gods would slowly make up their mind and tell others just to make small talk. “I’m thinking about {blank}” “wow that’s so not like your last choice!” “I’m still stuck between {blank} and {blank} they are just so good” You know small talk. All the while the chaos god is in the background not really picking anything but rather waiting for everyone else. Waiting til all the pieces are ready so they can see the “full” picture. One day the god of magic and life tells everyone their choice. Maybe they chose the MC for being an outsider and thus being able to value and accept all life. I mean I didn’t see the MC out there calling people “monster” like verity. Or maybe generically the MC race has a better control/use of magic and the god wants someone more capable so they don’t die again. In one of the meetings the god of life+magic tells the others and the god of chaos looks over and is interested. Simply interested. So he started watching the MC and that, THAT is how they found verity. The chaos god thought about it and Verity just “worked” too good. In the eat your cake and have it too manner. Honestly the other gods should pay more attention when the chaos gods around.

Makes me wonder what the lights mean and the horns, the amount and if broken ones are like, really bad, or something.

If anyone relates to this song, just know god took the exact timing on creating you, but imagine if all of us were good-looking and looked around the same that would not allow our own beauty to stand out. God Loves you and he created you exactly how he wanted you to be made. One thing I learned is for us to see beauty in ourselves we have to stop comparing ourselves because we will never look like a celeb or the pretty girl down the street because your beauty is shown differently. Your beauty is outstanding you need to believe it is as well. Love you and take care.
