That was enjoyable.... Sean, Jewel, and Nathan. Thank you for being entertaining beyond your roles. You all seem to be lovely people in real life. I KNOW there are some fans of the genre who might take things a bit to the extreme, but you all seem to be tolerant of those who go a little bit over the top, and blur fantasy with reality. Well done....! I enjoyed that!
What I am hoping for now that the actors are a bit older is for Telltale Games to animate chapters of firefly like they did for the Walking Dead but have the series actors voice their characters & have motion capturing make them look younger. HOW AMAZING WOULD THAT BE!!! (All credit to JeremyJahns)

Its a real shame. It fun scifi for fans that don't want to see near utopia or swords, sorcery, and Lazer swords trump all. It was a beautiful fun show and we are poorer for only have had 1 season and a movie.
How refreshing to see real 'Stars',doing what they do best, Shine.I think a lot of what made ' Firefly' so special was how much you wanted to be a part of that crew,and how much they all ( yeah even 'Jane') came to matter to you.A big part of this was that 'Family' Nathan spoke of!,that was still instantly evident after 10 years!

@Radicalgestsalt: Thanks to CZcams's general retardedness I can't reply to your comment _directly_, but hopefully you'll see this anyhow. I don't disagree *completely* with your statement about it being a good thing that Firefly was such a short-run series, but I do think that ONE season is just way too little. Ideally, a show like Firefly should get to run for about 3 to 4 seasons. Anything beyond that and there tend to be too many "filler" episodes (just look at Battlestar Galactica, which seemed to start running out of ideas after season 2). Farscape did quite well with 4 seasons ... although they still needed that semi-silly movie at the end to really wrap things up.
Make 'em klone Wash somehow scriptwise, get all the actors back, make em train 6 months, and let the story go on from the movie. By now the publishers must know Firefly would be an immediate worldwide succes now. How long can they stay stupid?

I'm amazed at how many good (yet relatively low-profile) actors the Canadians have. Especially for a country with such a small population. Between Castle, Firefly and Battlestar Galactica it seems like all the good shows have a liberal sprinkling of Canadians in them.

That happens a lot. Look Australia has that with actors too. I think partially it's that it's harder to break out in smaller countries (population not scale), there are less schools/classes, and less jobs, so you have to really want it *and* really be talented.
And don't forget Stargate :)
