I think her way to express her feelings were more than just excess of drugs or alcool. I think she was really suffering and probably bipolare. I'm surprised nobody see it. This made what people loved in her way of singing, whereas she really suffered from a lack of love. I think it's because of that that men didn't want her. Because the way of expressing her feelings with this disease afraid them

I was born in 1979 and been a big fan of Janis since I was a kid I use to record a record of Janis my parents had on to cassette and hand them out in grade school to my friends and even to a few teachers because I thought she was someone different and she was anyway still love her stuff just as much as I did as a child

This reminds me of my partner so much. One of those songs that just resonates... it sparks so much love, reminds me how important she is, how I'd love to go back and fix all the little errors that were made, and how all those errors make up our entire relationship, from her eating my food when I'm not looking, to us owning an absolute ginormous husky/german shepherd that we literally treat like our child.... I love this song.
