everybody in the comments is talking about pay to produce with gold. this video is about the monthly subscription which is cheaper than an xbox live subscription and makes the game playable the way it was intended, instead of boiling down to 99% annoying infantry spamming.

Remember kids, look at all infantry stats and notice the difference between damage on defense vs damage on offense. infantry always loses when moving forward. you need artillery stacked and fire control to halt and inflict damage and wait for the enemy to attack you then you get to play defense STOP INFANTRY SPAMMING

im so sick of playing with annoying noobs who do next to nothing but infantry spam. can we get a premium players only server? its a completely different way of playing. Its actually playing the game the way its intended vs playing some form of checkers. there are so many different units that I want to play with but its really annoying and unfun when 99% of servers are losers spamming infantry (its an annoying, cheap, unsophisticated tactic that shouldnt work but is really annoying because of its popularity). Artillery and Ships fire controls make the game a more strategic and political game. Also can we get a fire control queue? meaning that when the artillery or ship spawns, it is queued with the prefered fire control. otherwise, if you set artillery with waypoint, it will move helplessly toward the enemy until you log in again. CON WW3 hasnt added any new features in 10 years its been running.

I keep coming back to Abyss only to bang my head on the table over and over again. T0, any noob can do it blind folded. T1, yikes! Why is this in the game if the difficulty ramps up from 'retard' to 'do I need hacks'?

my experience with alpha-friendly frigates (Worm, Punisher, Imperial Navy Slicer): if you can clear t1 abyss in 15 to 20 minutes with them, then you can blitz t0 in just 5 minutes, giving you essentielly the same loot per hour at much lower risk.

Try this as an untrainable Alpha Clone that has access to only 10k SP per day. EVER becomes a very different game.

Sorry to say it like this, I dont mean to offend but you are either a bad player or you missed something when you say that golding in CoN automatically gives you victory. It doesnt and there are even videos on youtube which prove that. I havent played EVE but I will bet 50€ its the same thing when golding. In CoN even if you gold you dont automatically win unless you spend like a thousand euros/dollars per match at the very least. Yes you can give yourself an almost certain victory by just spending 50-100 if you have a brain but the brain is way more important in this matter than the money. If you just spend like a thousand and just insta drop morale of every player capital and most important cities while giving yourself a shit ton of max possible level units then yeah you have like 99%+ chance of winning but by spending just 50? No way without still using proper tactics and movements. The other thing is that I can guarantee you that dude didnt spend 30 or 50 or a hundred but more like 300-500 dollars or more. I have had a few games with heavy golders and I managed to make them literally pay for it eventhough I lost all of them and each time I counted just how much would it cost. The latest one looked very similar to yours and I calculated that the dude had to spend around 170-250€ in around 5 real hours with some amount already spent at the beginning of them game (end for me was day 14 when I got wiped out by a tsunami of nuclear ballistics).

I used this build as of 12/2023 and can confirm it still works. I know there is a comment below where the person had some issues and didnt think the build was still viable. I can only assume that maybe skills were not upgraded. I used the referral link and spent some points on gunnery and turret related skills. I go in with 150.4 DPS and dont have any problems. I would recommend this build, its not super expensive and has been helping me get my feet wet. edit* Also the "tier 3" guns are now considered Tier 2 according to the game lol. Its what I use and still works!

I dont se how the Devoted Knight dont straight up kill this fit everytime especially if u cant shoot at it from futher away then 20km. I run T1 Exotic in an active shield Worm with missile range of about 28km and i still need to just send in the drones and then head straight for the edge of the abyss to not get killed by the knight. The knight is the only thing that has ever killed me in that abyss.

Hmm... do the npcs switch targets? If they don't it would probably be easiest to run a tank... and a couple glass cannons. I've got a suc build that will do something like 400 dps... but i think it might be a bit too squish to run this solo.

Wow. I like the game so much. Every game someone can decide to throw money at it while co to ur to start up a bunch of new games. A fantastic design. All I have to do is find a friend or 2 and we can give any cash cow a decent challenge. It’s fun that folks are throwing money at the game especially when I don’t have to. It once I learn more about the game and figure out a few tactics I’ll be able to take advantage of the security council. I see 40 dollars per year and unlocking special troops each season seems doable if I’m running 5 games at 4x the speed errday all day

you have to remember they give you gold in the game for finishing high on the list. as i have not gotten the council or bought any gold packs, ive had 40k gold in my account before. that was just saved from the 10 games at a time i was playing, placed well in most of them and got 1k or higher in half of them over like 3 months.. its not always pay to win, it can be, but if you play multiple maps and play consistently, you can make good gold numbers without spending a dime.

I'm a noob and an idiot, so i dumped the battery and fitted a web when doing T0 electrical. That means i can always keep the enemies within 10km and use Multi spectrum crystals for max dps. I've never seen it in any other fit, so it's probably horribly stupid for some reason i still don't know, but it has worked for me so far.

ok, this build worked great on my first two runs through abyssal...but I didn't run into the skybreaker. I ran into the skybreaker on the third run and did everything exactly the way described in this video. I had 150 dps with a light missile launcher firing inferno missiles on top of meta 4 250mm artillery and I could not break the skybreaker's shield tank. couldn't even get it off the zero mark. He was webbed, I was at optimum firing range, armor repairer was going full tilt, He did enough dmg to destroy my Thrasher and I couldn't make a dent in his shields. I think either this wasn't tested enough or they've made some changes since this video came out. Anyway, my conclusion is that this build is no longer viable. The thrasher I lost pretty much wiped out any earnings I made except for the small bonuses I got from the carreer program thing

Has something changed recently? I'm trying to enter but after I select the 2 destroyers option it requires me to get into a fleet with another destroyer before I can enter... Not sure how you manage to get into this without forming a fleet with another player....
