I have a 2008 audi Q7 the car Start fine when it's cold but takes 4-5 sec to start when it's hot But starts everytime what can be causing this, any ideas

Hi there, does this vw have problems starting when hot? Mine started after I changed the thermostat, before my gauge went abit below top after the stat change it goes to the top and now struggles to start when hot. Any help? Sorry forgot to mention its a 1.9 tdi pd gti 150bhp also would changing the fuel temp gauge not help.

Awesome video BUT, and that's a big BUT. I used your video to remove the radiator and unless you drive around without headlights (as apparently you do), one MUST remove the bumper cover to remove the radiator. Why? Because the top 2 screws are behind the headlights and the bumper cover has to come off to remove the headlights. I can think of two cars I've owned in the past where I had to remove the radiator. One was a Dodge Grand Caravan and the other was a Mazda Protege. To remove the radiator in either vehicle, all I had to do was disconnect the two radiator hoses, remove a couple of screws right above the radiator and lift. The bottom of the radiator was held in place by a couple of tabs that fit into slots in the chassis. I don't know why VW designed the car this way. Oh, now I remember. Their ads brag about them being "German engineered" because they don't want their customers to realize that Golfs and Jettas are made in Mexico.

This solution is not the best but working. In my case I make a autoswitch using start signal.

Easy way, but only if your AC condenser is not connected. Removing a functioning condenser would mean doing a refrigerant job.

The ahf 110 tdi around 2000 had this problem and i used the exact same fix.the problem is a software issue on the hot side they dont suffer with this problem when there new as everything like battery and starter are brand new and can turn the engine over fast enough but soon as the battery and starter get tired it will start the hot start problem.to prove you have this issue just unplug the cts and if the car starts instantly theres your problem.

This is an improper way to remove the radiator. And would be impossible if you had the GTi model. Bumper and supports need to come off

Hey I did this last night and I thought it worked but sometimes it doesnt? I cut into wire 3 and bought a switch from autozone. I also get a short to ground code for cts
